Yeah, it's looking more apparent by the day I'll be going back to school. Another Master's or looking at PhD programs, I guess.

Shyt is crazy lol

If you're in toronto i can pm you where I work and you can apply and if something catches your eye just put me as a referral

I'm currently dealing with this. I'm still unemployed after finishing my M.Sc. in October of 2023. I've probably applied to 60-70 jobs across the country. I can't even get an interview for a retail position that I could work until I find something better; they see the Master's degree, certificates etc. and they already know what it is. Finding work just with an undergrad wasn't even this bad.

If I was overqualified for a job, I’d remove the schooling…he’ll maybe even come of the experience if it was entry level. Gotta make sure yiur. Resume matches the role you’re applying for. Which means new resume for every type of job you’re applying for for.

Don’t go back to school. Apply outside of Canada. Young people should leave this shirhole.

but would jobs outside of Canada take on people without much experience? Entry level seems to be hell right now. I got a bit lucky, but it took me over 14 months after graduation to get a job in the field I went back to school for. I wonder if stating black on the application affects the chance of getting interviews

For every job you should be changing your resume to mesh fit that job. Whether it be in your country or internationally

Stating that you’re a POC may help.

I still would not limit myself to just Canada and there are companies outside of Canada that will hire applicants fresh out of school.

I just think if you have a masters and not getting jobs, going back to school is silly. Get some experience.

Given US economy is actually performing I see the decline happening
But
0.50 seems like a stretch

Just saw it on bnn before I left :ehh:

Canada is dying brehs :to:

You make 100k in Canada that's only 72,000 usd

A min wage worker at McDonald's in California is making 20 usd a hour which is almost 30 cdn

pure wickedness in this world

another breh murdered in toronto with his gun on him, undoubtedly for protection. Breh was apparently on the straight and narrow but still due to financial reason in the hood.

RIP to breh
