Africa is the spot. Cheap to live, dollar stretches esp if you can work remote.
Once I get married I'll be living in Africa for like 3 months then go back and forth
Not too sure what I'm gonna do the next couple of years. My bro and I have enough for a down payment for a crib in provinces like Nova Scotia/New Brunswick, Saskatchewan, Alberta.. I could stay in Ontario but it be a spot like Sudbury or something. But I've noticed a lot of young folks migrating around Canada, which is dope. I got friends living in the Yukon, I don't think it's much of a difference aside from affordability.
Funnily enough my uncle was suggesting the same thing, working 9 months over here and living 3 months in Ghana.
Canadian entrepreneurs are timid and like protectionism
Perfect description of a Canadian attitude. Cowardly low risk, refuse to face challenges, ignore issues as if they will go away.

If you are a Biblical person, they say that a place like Canada is controlled by a Jezebel and Ahab spirit.
Basically a rebelious woman that promotes witch craft and sexual immorality and weak man who lets his wife Jezebel rule over him. That sounds like Canada and more so Toronto.

Praries, New Brunswick, and Nova Scotia are ripe for new blood from internal migrations.
Places like Sudbury and Chatham should encourage businesses to open there, they have alot of potential. Also places like Brandon Manitoba.
i am considering moving to the US in 2025 because of this very reason
literally every industry is oligopolistic and they know they can pay employees less as a result despite the cost of living issues in Toronto
in banking for instance you have the big 5 banks
- in the USA you have the JP Morgans, BofAs and Citis, but also have the Evercores, Goldmans, Moelis, William Blair, Baird, Guggenheim, PJT etc.
in private capital you have a few pension plans, brookfield and onex - Brookfield and Onex at least compete with the US firms so pay accordingly.
- US you have at least 50 prominent firms lol.
in law - you have 7 prominent firms List of largest Canada-based law firms by revenue - Wikipedia
- in the USA you have dozens List of largest law firms by revenue - Wikipedia
in VC - you have damn near zero prominent firms
- in the USA its flooded
Not to mention for entrepreneurial aspirations they have firms that actually can start up, innovate, compete and gain customers who are willing to take risks + VCs who are willing to take risk.
i gotta gtfoh
I ate out every day in kampala and london didn't have to tip once and got excellent service and affordable food
i know man, cpp going to be kicking peoples asses if they make 70K plus...Taxes and reductions are already ridic in canada
I just took a look at my first pay stub of the year and from taxes, CPP, EI, company pension, dental and health
