They were far more successful this time because the grievances are much broader and extend outside of their circle. Plenty of people are angry about pandemic restrictions who didnt typically care about politics before now. Just look at this thread

They also tried to host a anti-immigration rally at Nathan Philips Square a few years back. I went out of my way to harass them on FB and other social media sites. Had a podcast at the time and called one of the guys associated with the rally. Eventually none of the Albertans made it out. Anyone who did was met by like a 100:1. They basically got shook. Anyways, let's see where this goes.
