not mad at this, but what did Doug Ford do to piss his daughter off so badly?
Shes a grifter like the rest of them. We had a democratic election in what October? Mandates were on the table. Now these people want to over throw JT, but who are they going to replace him with? The Conservative party only has a interim leader, and still has to go through the process of selecting a leader. This is also the same group if people who change their minds every week on what caused this virus. She, like her father, profit off of this shyt. This keeps her in the public eye, and she either run for some position in the near future, or try to get a right wing media job of sorts. This is no different the what the Trump kids did. Its also a way to distract from the fact that her father is in Charge of Ontario, not Justin. Mandates are provincial, so instead of blaming her father, its fukk JT right? Notice Ontario and Alberta are the main drivers of this convoy and the people running it conveniently omit Jason Kenny and Ford from any blame? This is white privilege on display to the maximum. Nothing more and noting less...

How does Doug Ford benefit from these protests? They protested him too this weekend. Besides he isnt responsible for the opinions of his adult daughter. Its one thing if he governed in line with her opinions, but theres very little daylight between Doug Ford and Trudeau on COVID policy. Ontario is even more restrictive than NDP-run British Columbia as far as COVID policy goes.
Andrea Horwaths son also posted anti-vaxx stuff on social media but no one would ever suggest that means shes an anti-vaxxer.
On the actual issue at hand, I dont think views on the mandates are static. People were more receptive at a certain period of time, but now that country is at 90% fully vaccinated and tons of people got COVID exposure through Omicron, more people want to see things open up. I think the Liberals were hoping to use this as a wedge issue for as long as possible and it finally backfired.
