The tragic part is that business owners whose businesses miraculously survived have complied for 24 months, spent a ton on cleaning products, sanitizing, social distancing signage, capacity limits and still got fukked over.

The message is loud and clear comply and die a slow death or fight back and survive.

I already called the gym i used to work out at during the last lockdown and signed right back up, i have a doctors note they already have on file from when i was a member before.

Now in terms of the schools I said my piece. Nothing more to add. We just gotta double down and fill in the gaps with our kids, this remote learning shyt is almost impossible for children in the 5-7 age group. More math, english, reading and just time block for my son during the day while I work. I am definitely blessed to be working from home, many parents don't even have that option.

Sometimes situations like this are just a big siren to initiate change and get the hell out of this country. Not even emotional when I say this, its just what needs to be done.

Stay up yall. This was a stream of consciousness I just had on my mind this morning.

I mean the government told tenants not to pay rent so small businesses have always been given a giant F-You. No surprise.

you are speaking purely from a residential landlord point of view meanwhile commercial small business renters had to pay their landlords to stay closed some for 7 months straight last year. those landlords are also small business owners some of em and they didn't have the same experience you had. some even refused to take on the government subsidies to help their tenants, using this time as an opportunity to get them out.

everyone is for themselves breh you no different. the government was not trying to incentivize renters to not pay rent and you know that. people always exploit situations. greed is human nature
