breh you sound like them right-wing cacs.

even the law (judges) have ruled against mandatory minimums because they don't consider individual circumstances, and they invariably come up/exist where the law/punishment doesn't fit the accused, hence the reason for case law and precedents and interpretation of law and the spirit of a law. lucky for us our judges aren't passionate emotional thinkers.

dispassionate legal rulings:wow:

i guess we'll just agree to disagree.
i sound like me.

harsh and strict gun laws and penalties is not a conservative trait. you naive as hell if you think that a man should get a slap on a wrist just because he has a gun and didn't bust it *yet

Two people have been charged with attempted murder after allegedly firing a crossbow at the occupants of a vehicle in Brampton, Ont. late last week.

Police say the incident took place on Dec. 3 near of Airport Road and Triple Crown Drive.

According to investigators, two victims were driving in the area when another vehicle pulled up alongside them. The occupants of the second vehicle fired a crossbow at the victims, police said, narrowly missing them. The projectile lodged itself within the vehicle, police added.

The suspects fled the area in the vehicle.

On Thursday, police identified two suspects wanted in connection with the investigation. Officers say they found a crossbow and “ other evidence” at their place of residence after executing a search warrant.

Brampton resident Sahil Gill, 20, has been charged with attempted murder and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle while Devinder Gill, 20 has also been charged with attempted murder.

Anyone with information is being asked to contact investigators or reach out to Crime Stoppers anonymously.

TORONTO -- Friends and family are grieving the sudden loss of a passionate community advocate and leader in Toronto’s Jane and Finch community who was gunned down a week ago in the North York neighbourhood.

Kwadwo ‘Sam’ Asamoah-Boakye, 30, grew up in the northwest Toronto neighbourhood and was very involved in making a positive difference within the community.

“It’s very challenging,” Mohamed Ahmed, a friend and colleague of Asamoah-Boakye's for the past 10 years and co-executive director of Success Beyond Limits, said.

“We’re having a hard time with Sam’s loss. We’re having a hard time with the families we’re working with.”

Ahmed said Asamoah-Boakye ran programs to help young people finish high school and pursue education.

“Sam was hilarious ... He was an amazing person to be around. He was able, I feel, to connect with the ambition we have within ourselves and bring that to life.”

On top of being a father to a two-year-old, he also cared for another child. He was a graduate of African studies and political science at the University of Toronto.

if he had a vest and a gun, despite not being involved in the shyt, but knowing his neighbourhood is involved he may still be here. he had every right to protect himself in this case.

but yeah, mandatory minimum for all.

naivety speaks to inexperience, i speak from experience like you claim to.

street nikkas don't follow laws, so as a non-street nikka you don't even have recourse legally to protect yourself, it leaves nikkas naked in the cold better have a heater.
