Maaan I used to sit right on that sitting area there. Ryerson looks like shyt now. I mean, it kinda always did but it just looks grimey. The quad, Jorgensen…good times.

Also went to Ryerson, but spent most of my time at the TRS building...attached to Eatons.

The homelessness issue in Toronto is no joke. There are way more many homeless folks in downtown compared to pre pandemic.

I was legit walking when I saw a homeless guy sleeping on the sidewalk in front of a building and a guy walking on his phone, tripped over him and fell on top of him. I just cringeed. & Then a security guard told the homeless guy he can't sleep here. Just ugh. :wow:

Homeless people are running out of places to sleep downtown. & Cops are enforcing that they move from most sidewalks. The guard told him for his safety he should move but damn.

Just a mess all around. :picard:

It disgusts me how this city treats the homeless. :hhh:

I even see homeless people in Woodbridge now at stop signs

you take the ttc they basically just live on the trains sleeping no mask

Harper was in power from 2006-2015. Trudeau now from 2015-2021. Multiple terms are the norm if you look back at recent history (Chretien, Mulroney, Trudeau Sr)

When you get near the decade mark, you inevitably get vulnerable. Whether from your own party (ambitious people wont wait in the wings forever - look at Paul Martin vs Chretien) or through emergence of a stronger candidate. Trudeau is an effective campaigner but hardly a juggernaut. Everyone eventually loses.

I know he's Liberal and you guys wont admit it, but His arguably the worst PM of All-time. He'll go down as the Michael Manley of Canada.
Trudeau will go down as a top 5 WOAT. Mark my words.

Whole area FILLED with some of the most wild homeless folks and addicts

my cousin went there to hang with a friend and smoke and caught a 2on2 fight with some shorties

Downtown def got more weirder than usual

So with Trudeau, is there any chance COVID ends within a couple months?
How Trudeau ending covid? :dahell:

Covid is here for the long term (forever?)...how we as a society treat it will evolve

Passport, little/no restrictions, yearly vax, etc will become norm. Passport may disappear in a year or so.

Area is near grime especially to the East. Sherbourne and Jarvis are not far.
