Brehs, I need a decent Caribbean Grocer in the Richmond Hill/Markham/Vaughan area. Is this a pipe dream? The spots I frequented are GONE! Found some spots near Jane and Finch but hoping there's a hidden gem that's closer for me.
Good luck breh I live in vaughan and there isn't any that I know off. I usually get my stuff at fresh co they are good with a lot of carribbean stuff (bun, bulla, sauces, spices etc. they even sell oxtail). I just mainly wait till I go to into town for church and I'll hit up danforth food market for anything else
Yea, I can get some things from Freshco, but I need more shyt. Used to go to Danforth (Finch and Pharmacy) but they up and closed down out of nowhere....so I'll have to hit up a different location. Nicey's been gone too (Finch and Vic Park).
There is a Danforth at Keele near Sheppard
Also one near highway 27 and Steeles
Yeah niceys when I grew up in Scarborough that was my spot near Chester Le even Harvey's gone from there think they building condos there
You can also try some African stores alot carry alot of Carribean foods since we are somewhat the same yams, plantain, the real Milo
But yeah most are in the Jane and finch area unfortunately
Yea, that whole plaza that had Niceys and Harveys is a construction zone. I peeped Steeles/Highway 27. Will have to hit that one up. Haven't had Milo since I was a kid...might try that...Horlicks too.
what area you staying at?@Malcolmxxx_23 i'm finally going to ottawa next week for the first time .
especially when the hospitals are full of unvaxxedWhat is the point of this?
If people aren't gonna get vaccinated we can't force them ....
People's lives are gonna impacted because we have to accomodate for a select few who aren't gonna get the vaccine regardless?
fukk Doug ford.
