Golden age for Canadian hip hop.

If RapCity were still a thing today, you’d have “opps” and clout chasers showing up to the building to start shyt. :francis:

Only current gen Canadian rappers I listen to are Drake, Tory, Big Lean, and sometimes Baka(he old as shyt, but still current gen, lol). The rest is :trash: for the most part.
Young R.O.Z is hard TOO think he's homies with Big Lean. Also Rubberband R.O.C hard AF, Pull Up is the hardest joint.

BRAMPTON, Ont. - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau says the federal government is pouring nearly $120 million into affordable rental units in Brampton, Ont.

The money is set to be used to build a 26-storey building that has been described as being “multi-residential” and “energy-efficient.”

More than 300 families are expected to be able to live in these units.

The investment is part of the federal government's plan to “build stronger communities, create jobs, and grow our middle class, while supporting vulnerable Canadians and helping end homelessness.”

The announcement is part of the Rental Construction Financing Initiative, which supports new rental housing builds across Canada.

The initiative aims to provide low-cost, insured loans to developers and cities where more rental housing is needed.

sounds like another regent park about to be built.

why they don't just make it law to allot an x amount of units to every condo made to be for affordable housing that way you don't get the concentration of poverty which breeds a certain element....

I think thats what this project is. downtown brampton is the only developing area that attracts tourists. They will most likely make a regent park in downtown brampton but by 2022 when covid had eased away and the LRT is fullysetup , the price will reset itself to whatever the GTA average rent is.

They keep praising eg. west for getting the cultrual district recognition, a new farmer market, media buzz, and some initiatives to help businesses, but its kinda the same story as downtrown brampton. Once covid done and LRT setup, alll the poor people, blacks, folks living pay cheque-to pay cheque get the boot. By 2023-2024, all the rich whites and foreign investment pours in. On the bright side, maybe theyll make a dave and busters out by those ends :manny:

They making money off this ignorance

I always say its so easy to stop the violence in rap. Stop promoting the filth, I remember growing up toronto/canada hiphop was like choclair, maestro, jellestone, kardinal offishal, k-os, raskalz, bless :heh: , saukrates, swollen members etc. and the only "gangsta" group that was kind of known was point blank
but everyone got along with everyone made songs together, the music was fun to listen to etc.

Now what toronto/canada hiphop is straight disgusting, stop glorifying this ish, stop putting these artists on billboards and giving em profiles.

Fun easygoing music, no demonic murder threats. Social media was a mistake.
