she’s trying to spend the month of July in the us then drive back into Canada abs quarantine.

if it were this easy wouldn’t most Canadians be doing this? Is she delusional or am I buggin?

The only way you can cross the border by car is

1. you have an american passport and its your right as a citizen to enter usa
2. If you are essential like a truck driver
3. If you work in the states and live in canada

nice for the drop but no one is doing anything and we all remember last summer we were at like 100 cases a day

even uk is considering not coming out of full lockdown cuz of the indian variant

UK has been out of full lockdown since late March, they've been dropping restrictions every few weeks since then.

Right now indoor dining, restaurants/bars, movies, gyms etc are all open. June 21 was supposed to be the end of every single restriction, including capacity limits etc. They're saying theyre reviewing data about new variant before they do that. But UK is literally more open than Canada has been at any point during pandemic.
