Leon Slater has signed a deal with Impact Wrestling, and Suge D is looking forward to seeing what he does there. Suge was a guest on Fightful Overbooked’s Indied podcast and talked about Slater's long-term deal with the company while they were in the UK.

“America is about to get familiar with somebody real soon, Leon Slater,” Suge told the site.” Congratulations to him, real talk. I met Leon at a NORTH show in Newcastle and when I tell you he’s one of the most respectful kids, he’ll always ask questions. The thing is, when I was over there, it was booming. A small weekend was three shows and I could get up to as much as 5 or 6 shows a weekend sometimes. I was making enough money where I was paying all my bills back home and still taking care of stuff over there, had enough money to go crazy and ball out a little bit. I miss that time, I really miss the people and the culture and stuff was booming, and then speaking out, the pandemic, other things happened and it’s a broken scene over there right now.”

He concluded, “So, I’m really proud for these young kids that are stepping up and they’re like, we don’t care if the scene isn’t what it was, we don’t care if the money ain’t what it was, we got to keep this thing pushing. Leon was a part of that, Warren Banks was a part of that.”

In an interview with PWInsider Elite (via Fightful, Sonny Kiss spoke about her match Trinity on this upcoming Thursday’s episode of Impact Wrestling, which was taped last month.

She said: “Trinity is absolutely fantastic. It was only a matter of time before Trinity and I wrestled. We thought, when we both heard, we kind of laughed, we thought we would be teaming up. I wouldn’t be opposed to that. Maybe that will happen. Trinity is amazing. She’s super athletic. I’ve watched her and her career for the last ten years coming up in this business and being a revolutionary, being one of the greatest women’s wrestlers that anyone has ever seen. She’s super talented, beautiful, athletic. I just knew we were going to put on a clinic. She and I come from a similar dock. Dancer, cheerleader turned wrestler. It was only a matter of time before we got in the ring with each other.

During a recent interview with the Paltrocast With Darren Paltrowitz, Impact Wrestling/TNA star Frankie Kazarian discussed his goal of wanting to become TNA World Champion next year. He stated the following (via Fightful):

“I’ve always said that if you don’t aspire to be a WorldCchampion, I don’t know why you’re doing this. I understand not everybody’s goals are the same. Yes, I’ve worked hard in my career, and I’ve achieved more than I ever thought possible, but I would be lying if I said I’m content because I’m not. I do want to be World Champion. I want to have my name in that history book alongside my friends and the greats and those that have carried that title. That, going into next year, is 100% my goal, to become TNA World Champion.”
Impact Wrestling will return to the TNA branding starting in January with the Hard to Kill event.

Hope this pans out. :ehh:

Been needing a strong wrestling company other than WWE and AEW. WWE is PlayStation, WWE is Xbox, and TNA can be Nintendo.
