Trinity with an impressive back breaker
What's crazy is that Dutch, Cornette and I think Heyman all told them to change the name even back then. The old management was just stubborn for no reason, so it was surprising that they manage to get some good endorsements in their prime and peak, but that's mainly thanks to Viacom when you think about it.I remember when they tried to distance themselves by using the whole Global Force Wrestling name, and Dixie hit the . The thing with IMPACT is that it's a testament of what was wrong with the era it was born in. The whole loud, t*ts, and redneck type of feeling is hard to shake. It got to a point where they had to drop TNA just to get an endorsement.
Its crazy how despite the TNA stigma, the fact remains that the name will forever be a household affair. Scott could one day call the shyt "Candian Mounted Wrestling Frontier" and it will still be TNA to me.

TBH, imo the Global Force Wrestling name would've been a good replacement, Jarrett was cooking with the name, but Dixie wanted to go over and still got the boot by Anthem. The company needed the rebrand badly during time and should've stuck with it, even with the blue and green color scheme, at least the six sided ring would've stayed.
