The Government should literally provide a public service that competes directly with any private equivalent and should enforce Federal monopolies in certain industries where the private sector has been shown to not act in the best interests of the public.

It shouldn’t matter what side you are on. Govt should provide certain services to the good of the people. That’s not on no socialist shyt. It makes common sense.

I dislike the Feds and dislike taxes, but I believe health care is something the govt can do better. They have to stand up to the corps and lobbyists. That’s the hardest part for the politicians. They need their pockets lined.
