the shadow realm looked like a Sin City knockoff

It was like the writers all did lines of blow and said..."This is a good idea, yeah noir will be kinda hip/retro, but serious"....

Using the movie Event Horizon to answer a question about wormholes?

This was a disaster...this is the Batman and Robin in Thor's run...

This film misses the mark Amazingly!

Negatives

Taika peaked with Ragnarok and they gave him too much freedom with his writing and humor in this.

He did not handle the Thor Character well in this at all!

This film was not balanced well at all to the point that the serious scenes were overshadowed by terrible Taika Humor.

Korg :camby:

Positives

He knows how to do visuals.
Natalie Portman and Tessa Thompson's arms.
Christian Bale did a decent job.
The lil' Breh.

This film was dead on arrival from the first scene onwards...

4/10 and that is being nice.

And one last thing fukk them Goats! :pacspit:

This movie was incredibly disappointing especially after how much I enjoyed Ragnarok.

It was like Taika Waititi leaned into all of his worst instincts as a writer/director especially his penchant for going to far into the absurdity of things and there seemed to be no one involved to pull him back from the abyss.

And to keep it real a lot of the ridiculous stuff wasn't all that funny. I would say the most successful bit of ridiculousness was the over the top way Russell Crow portrayed Zeus but aside from that things were on a scale of mildly humorous to just stupid.

Also it has been 3 movies now and Jane Foster still sucks as a character while Natalie Portman and Chris Hemsworth have negative romantic chemistry.

I think the worst thing about Love & Thunder was the way all the promise of Gor that was in the pre-opening credits sequence never was realized in the rest of the movie so what could have been an amazing villain ended up being just blah.

And casting fukking Roy Kent as Hercules is one of the worst casting decisions in the history of comic book movies.

I came across a scene on Twitter where

A bunch of kids with Thor's powers are charging at some monsters like Endgame

:what::mjlol:

Breh the amount of cringe during that scene made my whole body contort. Reminded me of the

scene in Logan where all the little mutant kids realize they got super powers at the end and shouldn’t be running from nikkas with tranquilizers

Upon 2nd viewing :

In Omnipitence city is that Bast in front of Valkyrie?

in the place where Gorr recreated that statue of Eternity the statue that "fell" on the kids was one of Arishem the Judge.

I feel like they are gonna make "gorrs daughter" the entity Love or (what im leaning more towards) Singularity from the 2015 battleworld run which makes sense cause when gorr was dying the water showed a reflection of the girl and she looked exactly like singularity from the comics
edit: Or Now which is the daughter of eternity Now (Cosmic Being) (Earth-616)

that's how it has always been ..

with x-men kids. they are just humans. many cannot control their powers. sometimes those powers are even a risk to themselves.
that is how marvel separated the x-men from (say) the avengers in their lore.
that's how the reavers took out hundreds of mutants.
that is how sabertooth could attack the x-men alone.
x-men are humans. you shoot them and most are going down despite their otherwise great powers.

a bunch of kids almost killed prof -x

Nah, they got enough loyal fans that quality doesn't matter anymore.
"Turn your brain off and have fun" is their approach :manny:
I didnt agree with Scorcese's criticism of the MCU...until phase 4. Seems they're embracing it now.
Oh yea for sure they stans gonna hold it down

but what they really underestimating is losing traditional MEN dollars. And the teenage asian dollar. The 45 -35 year old man who was raised on this shyt. We still matter . And them asian bros thats like 21-22 years old they come in packs and they know they shyt. Ive seen it. We is not fukkin with none of this shyt. Star Wars is havin the same problem dont get me started
