So apparently Marvel now has four films in this phase that has received mixed reception and their next entry after Thor: Love and Thunder is a Black Panther film that has had to be reworked to oblivion after Boseman’s passing. I’ll probably end up enjoying Thor anyways, but that’s gonna be a yikes from me dawg.

I've seen three reviews of this movie so far.

1 said the movie was great and better than Ragnorok
1 said the movie was decent but not as good as Ragnorok
1 said the movie was trash

I think it's a great story to tackle after endgame
the audience member knows Thor enough
they understand that there's aliens and different gods in this universe and they also get aliens can be gods in this universe.
it's a perfect next step

my post was calling out the absurdity of reveiws.

but just so you know, people can have it both ways. I never heard of someone refusing to enjoy a movie because it got bad reviews. The main thing it does is inform a decision or whether or not to see it opening night in theaters or wait until it hits streaming. Ultimately everyone judges for themselves eventually.

No shots at DC but in general I bet every studio and film company could only wish they could “fail and drop the ball” like Marvel
