For the first time in a long time, I'm genuinely excited for a tennis grand slam. shyt should be lit.

Murray new number 1 trying to win his first AO, after being runner up 5 times.
Djokovic now number 2, trying to win a record breaking 7th AO title.
Nadal and Federer back from injuries both looking good and will be a threat.
Raonic, Nishikori, Cilic, Wawrinka all dangerous on their day and capable of big scalps.
Young players like Thiem, Kyrgios, Zverev, Pouille all trying to make their mark.

And on the women's side you've got Serena going for 23, Kerber going for her 3rd, several others like Halep/Radwanska/Pliskova/Muguruza are going to be tough draws. Venus at nearly 37 still going strong.

Can't wait, hopefully some other brehs on here will post during the AO and not just me on my own :mjgrin:

Yea i went Venus bc she would avoid Serena until the finals and the first 3 matches should be ok for her if her stamina holds up.

The men's is so hard to pick so i wont fault you for picking Raonic cause he's no longer a lumbering oaf out there

I don't think Kerber will get to the final so chance for Venus.

Also Raonic would have beaten Murray in the SF last year if not for an injury mid match so no reason he can't go all the way here.

Anybody but Murray :hhh:
