But he's not beasting that's the problem. He's playing no different to how he has his entire career. All the people saying he's peaking, playing his best, hitting his prime... you don't peak at 30. He's just lucky the big guns have dropped off and the rest of the field is weak as fukk :yeshrug:

Murray is playing more aggressive since bringing lendl back. With Amilie he was back to being passive and defensive like he used to be.

If you weren't such a hater you'd see that. 2nd you don't peak at 30? Really?? Tell that one to Stan...

Meh, most points Murray wins are just him being defensive waiting for his opponent to make the error... which they nearly always do cause the players nowadays are shyt.

Stan didn't peak at 30. He's always been a big game player, who plays his best when it matters at the back end of Slams... his problem was getting to the back end of slams. But since the field became shyt, Fed and Nadal declined, the tour got older he got to the back end, thus peaked, and thus won 3 slams.

Can't underestimate how much he's grown though. Fed and Nadal declined for sure, but Wawrinka also grew balls. Something about hanging around Fed was enough to teach him what it takes to win. For a while there he could have just been another wasted talent with a great one-handed backhand like Gasquet.

Excited as hell for the AO. Hopefully Serena's shoulder is faring better. Kerber needs to lose early. Does anyone know if Serna's going to do Brisbane this year?

I expect Serena to do really well at the AO. Despite being 35 that shouldn't affect her too much, last year after losing in the US Open semis; she got to the AO Final without dropping a set (and lost a tight 2-1 final). I expect her to be fully fit, motivated and have a deep run to the semis at least, but after that pressure may take hold :lupe:

Magnus Norman is the difference for Wawrinka

She's just playing for history now. Hopefully that takes the edge off.
