very funny indeed to be reminded (on a certain podcast I mention all the time) that GB couldn't have won, and might have even been relegated... if the only non-Murray singles win of the whole year didn't happen

The only time in the whole run GB didn't win a doubles match. But of course that upset did happen, they went through and won every key doubles match with Jamie peaking

Novak is so far ahead of everybody that he would have to go into SERIOUS tank mode to lose that #1 ranking. I think that Rafa will finish in the top 3 being that ge doesnt have a MS1000 to defend and only 1 MS1000 title appearance (Madrid) to defend.

I think Sharapova and Ferrer (his age) fall out of the top 10 by the end of the year.

Aussie will have the most upsets
FO will be boring
Wimbledon will have the most drama
US Open will have the match of the year

No Grand Slam will have the top 4 seeds reach the semi's.

I have also, but she is a head case and I have finally accepted that. Australia will tell me some things about Serena. If she looks good, win or lose, I like her chances at the other three majors. I think if she ties Steffi between Melbourne and Paris, the pressure comes off and she will flourish. She was tight as a drum in New York and it costs her an enormous amount of history.

That knee is giving up on her fam, i'll give her one MAYBE two majors this year but I don't think the Aussie Open will be one of them.
