didnt realize this was bercy.. bellucci vs djokovic i'm guessing

how is the bercy experience? for this tournament i watch a lot of the closer matched games on the 2nd court... i love that 2nd court, it looks really tiny, not so full, and has constant top 20/30 players playing against each other. looks like the perfect stadium to really watch everything intently.

contrasted with the main court, which seems bigger and more casual, and they also added those horrible "pro fans" who are there just for atmosphere. it sounds cool yes, but less cool when you realized they are paid to do it

also here is a really nice no challenges remaining edition about challengers. interviews with the guy who does commentary on ALL the challenger streams (american challengers are the best covered of all tennis in the world IMO, absolutely free, in hd, and usually streaming all day.. so it's really easy to follow the challenger tournaments here and a cool thing to stream if you have nothing else to watch), then a challenger lifer (kuznetsov), then a coach who coaches kudla and smyczek and their unique arrangements and also career choices, then the best interview , ryan harrison who just keeps it real, really like that guy

most informative interview is with the coach, the life on the tour, how he splits his time, and the choices you have to make. october + november is the US hard court challenger swing, and players have to weigh staying and racking up point considering AO direct entry, plus possibly gaining more points than having to qualify for a lot of the indoor hard european tournaments. or they could just be tired at the end of the season and stay at home, that kind of thing. very interesting aspect of tennis, especially if you're in that bubble around the top 100

i usually follow the challenger stuff in oct + nov, but unfortunately this year i havent been able to watch so many games. still following the tournaments a bit though...

have to say american mens tennis is in VERY strong hands.FRITZ has been cleaning up, also tommy paul, tiafoe, donaldson, rubin have been doing very well. there will be a very strong group in the next two years

Kinda off topic. I think tiafoe left roc nation. He's no longer on the website.probably should have established himself first before signing to that firm.

Yup Bellucci / Djoko then after Paire / Simon. I also saw a bit of Rosol / Garcia-Lopez but had to left it because the Djokovic match was starting because Djokovic was the only one of the "big 4" I never saw live :russ:. The 2nd court (and the third one which is mostly for doubles) are pretty narrow indeed and the height is juuuust comfortable enough to play; though with the new Bercy (well, now AccordHotels Arena :stopitslime:) the ceiling is higher than what it was before. 2nd court is more for the aficionados because you're meters away from the pros and you really notice the speed and the power but if you want to see the top guys, it's only on the main court. Only court that has the hawkeye and replays too.

I would have thought joker would take control of this h2h with fed by now, but fed still consistently beats this guy.

Rafa has never won the YEC

:lupe:

2 of 3 is easier for Federer & Fed can beat him in fast indoors or real quick hard courts like Cinci

Rafa would be smart to just flat out tank tomorrow against Ferrer. There's no insentive in going 100% when you are already through to the semi's and will face Novak Saturday

and this was the best example ever of why murray is getting rid of peers. lol

somehow bryans qualified after saving 5 MP (from 5-9 down) in the STB, they looked like garbage. gonna win it all now
