my boo Garbiñe <333

was absolutely enthralled with the Mugu/Aga match. Not because I had way too much money on Garbs (thank you baby) but because it was classic Aga. Garbs was hitting through her and I figured... she beat both the big hitters and a defensive type in Woz, Aga will be no problems.

But that's why tennis is one of the most fascinating sports. It's 1 on 1, and you can fukk up your game just thinking too much. Garbs realized she was 3 games away from a GS Final, Aga took advantage having been there before, and won 6 straight games until Aga was finall broken, then some of the best tennis of the tournament was played.

Every point was a massive grind, and not in the Djokopong way/ Aga at her imaginative best and Garbs doing her absolute best to keep it together. Was awesome stuff.

Just what is it about Serena that Sharapova cannot play high quality tennis against her. Serena's got the best serve in the WTA but Sharapova should be able to hang with her on a baseline rally right? The shyt gotta be mental. You can't tell me Sharapova can't bang winners too. She just flat out sucks vs Serena, lol.

that's the thing though, she can't. its not even mental. serena and sharapova play very similar games and serena is just BETTER. and thats not even including the mental stuff at this point.

thats why i think she will steamroll muguruza in the final. she got through hitting the ball hard too. aggy would've presented more problems if serena wasnt at her best
