Exactly. Basically an hour away from your first slam victory, first GS final, closing in on a 2 set lead, & then have to sit and wait on HIS serve for as long as he had to? All nerves now

A little bit of both but his play in the first set would have beaten anybody across the net from him. If he held that up, it wouldn't have mattered who he was facing

Yep, definitely will have a bittersweet taste to Wawrinka. Looks like Mauresmo's AO win against Hénin in 2006. At least Nadal has the dignity not to retire. What Hénin did was absolutely awful.

Stan brought it all on himself though when it's all said and done. Shouldn't have changed his game plan in the 3rd set and finished Nadal off about 30 minutes ago
