i agree with everything except

His BH IS worse than the two you named. Because he can't cope with the weight/height of Rafa's shot to his BH. Maybe, MAYBE Almagro or Haas can semi deal with Rafa's FH to that side, but even then they don't last long.
Truthfully, no 1HBH can deal with Rafa's forehand to that side unless he was DelPo height or taller and naturally hit from there.
If anything, Fed has the 4 or 5th best 1HBH to me.
Ultimately you right, no 1H BH players can deal with Rafa's FH because of the spin and because naturally height + 1HBH = difficulties. But what I mean is Federer has faced heavy lifters, mad clay specialists in his prime and only Nadal (but he's the king at it) caused him so much problem on this particular aspect of his game. Back then, I never saw his backhand as a weakness but Nadal truly exposed that to the world. IMO, it's just mental nowadays. I rewatched Fed's Win against Nadal in the '11 Masters and that's how he needs to play : hitting every ball on the rise, sticking to the baseline and not backing down, constant aggressiveness, hitting inside out forehands every time he can and rushing to the net every time it's possible etc.
I know the court isn't the same and indoor is Rafa's weakness but the Rebound Ace was faster this year.

Fed should just go to Rafa's BH the same way Rafa goes to his if he wants to play on the baseline.
Not sure if this will work honestly.
Nadal's 2H BH is really underrated, IMO, I think it's even top 10 to the very least. But it's also because every time rallies start to last, Fed's probability to win them decrease (against the top 5 I mean). Only solution for him is to go berserk. He already knows he's losing if he faces Nadal or Djokovic. If he goes full retard and rush the net like he's starving, he may lose but at least he will do so trying to win.

It's sad honestly seeing Federer happy to reach the semi and losing in straight sets. He used to hate losing. But on the real Fed never was a warrior. He always relied on his talent to overcome stuff and he's too confident in his own self to lower himself to go to war. He's a general who stays deep behind the front lines with the confidence to win the battle without shedding blood.

Well it may not have been a weakness, just not a huge weapon as his forehand. And most of Rafa's damage comes from staying far back into the court, not being aggressive. But that's a tough ask for a 1HBHer to do, especially due to the nature of the shot itself. But Fed had plenty of chances to win this in 3, IMO. Dont forget that Fed is the 2nd best clay player of his generation, so his BH espousal mostly happened on clay, where Rafa's FH height and spin is even worse to handle.

That shot has been off for a while for Rafa, it seems to come and go. Nole exploited quite a bit, especially when Rafa does that silly slice shot, mostly on that side. When its on, its fire. But he might as well if he wants to rally.
Rafa and Fed are polar opposites, Fed's all talent & god given abilities, Rafa is pure hard work & determination. Nole actually is a combo of both, now.
Because of that talent, Fed has a horrible 5 set record for a player of his caliber, no real mental fortitude.

He did what most of you were saying, bigger racquet, come to net more/aggressiveness. With Edberg, we'll see if it pays off for him going forward against everybody. This match, it didn't maybe next time it will.

Breh I can't believe Nadal is legit set to pass Federer. Nadal is one of the all time greats, but that just doesn't sound right to me.

Do you think it's because Fed is slowing down with age, or have people figured him out? And is Nadal legit blood doping or are you guys just trolling?

Man Nadal ain't doping. He been beating Fed ass with ease since he was 17 back in 2004 :blessed:

Fed has just gotten old, that's all. He's played A LOT of matches in his career.

Here's some more fuel to the fire:

The Spanish Tennis Federation sent a doctor to Melbourne for Rafael Nadal; Angel Ruiz Cotorro, and also Julián Casanova, a physiotherapist.

With them traveled to the capital of Victoria a revolutionary machine, called Indiba, which will help the rapid recovery of the left hand of the number 1 ATP player. Nadal suffers a nagging sore that forced him to play Grigor Dimitrov bandaged...

"We applied creams that help regenerate skin, but also Indiba, which serves to accelerate the healing process" explains Cotorro. The device that applies radiofrequency thereby accelerating metabolism of cells, reorganizing oxygenated blood, improving the velocity of blood flow and by promoting lymphatic drainage of the peripheral area. So the cell state thrives.

Nole and his Egg, Rafa and this machine, we'll just never know will we??

Tennis don't give a fukk about ped's. I remember when Korda won the aussie back in the day and got caught for doping and nobody gave a damn. Mcenroe was like he still the champ :manny:

I can't stay up to watch my goat tonight :to:

I won a prize outside the US Open grounds as a kid using Petr Korda as the answer to some obscure ass question. That's how much of a tennis fan I've been.
