I forgot Murray is Novak's coach now. I wonder if that keeps Novak loose/calm or if they'll have volcanic eruptions when shyt gets tight.

Coco is just blasting Leylah off the court. She's been looking at Leylah all match like a shark looking at her prey.

I said American Tennis, not Sampras specifically.

And you're being obtuse on the animosity towards Federer. The "Federer's dominant run was in a weak era" is a definite slight comment on him

You said it yourself with your "..... until Nadal" comment

Ahh ok. I used Sampras as he was the golden American player up to that point, and I guess Fed stopped Roddikk from winning a few more too so yeah he did stop the American Tennis era.

I am wondering how long it lasts and I wonder if this is Novak giving Murray his first coaching Job and eventually Murray moves on to coach someone else soon.

She’s playing well, supposedly injury free. Iga is vulnerable. I think it’ll be close.

Yeah it's some interesting narratives in play

Emma has some pressure overall to prove that her USO win wasn't a fluke but tonight it feels like she's playing w/house money

Iga is under a lot of pressure these days to beat the allegations of being a glorified clay court specialist

Once we get to the third round of a Slam outside of Paris, it's fair game on Iga.

Emma's serve has been shaky the first two rounds but she has the talent and game to blast Iga off the court. Her serve and body holding up are the keys to the match for her.
