That tournament starts in 7 weeks, on the same surface that he got hurt on. You think he will be ready by then with a torn meniscus?

I think his thinking is....stop now and be ready for Olympics. That's his main aim this season. He has been obsessive with getting that Olympic Gold. A fully fit Novak is still to much to handle for all except maybe Carlos and Sinner at their peak so even next season fully fit Novak is an issue.
