I don't think Serena was taking it easy necessarily....6-3 first set and made a couple of big plays in the second (Where she would have lost I think if not for injury, but still staying in the match).

Pretty much the only way to beat Serena that I've seen is to "push" a bit...take chances sporadically, hope Serena's forehand breaks down a bit.

When Serena isn't getting free points on serves (Even in the first set she wasn't), all the more chance you have of an upset. The wind may very well have been just as big of a factor tonight as ankle or back....

Sloane might be the future....

If Taylor Townsend pans out, watch out. We might be onto something....
