Lithuania is a good team and they were doing a very good job of attacking USA's weaknesses. No one is saying they were all playing shut down defense but there was only one guy that was consistently gambling and overplaying and causing a 5 on 4 almost every time down the court.

No one is saying the 60 percent is solely because of Kobe. It was just that he was particularly trashy on defense despite the reputation people still try to give him.

Finger pointing is only natural. Everyone wants USA to win and everyone is going to point out who played well and who didn't. That remains the same whether it's regular season, playoffs, international play, etc. If Kobe had played well, people would have talked about it.
