I don't think that was the planned finish. I'm guessing Brock threw that elbow, cut Orton open unexpectedly and he was just pouring blood to the point they had to stop the match. Dude wasn't even moving for a little bit. He probably has a concussion on top of that bad cut.

I'm not sure, you could be right, but I just doubt that they had a different finish planned, but stopped early when Orton bled that much.

When Heyman was in the UK on his tour he did that bullshyt promo about "what if" Lesnar beat Undertaker's streak because he decided he was going to. It wad super cringeworthy and immediately I was looking at it like, "but he didn't?" but then some neckbeards applauded it like it was entertaining as shyt. They're going that route with this. Legitimately, people will now think Lesnar ended that match because he decided to. Shoot style. It has appeal I guess, but after sitting through 5 hours of just zzzzzz, I couldn't give a shyt. Maybe tomorrow I'll feel different.

It feels like Vince is writing moments, rather than whole shows. That's why so much of it lacks connection or flow.
