no combo is real until you get hit by it
nikkas thought plinking and slinking wasn't gonna be all that until it was
nikkas thought lightning loops weren't gonna be viable until it turned matches into cutscenes
pretty sure people thought sfv oro tengu stone combos were gonna be funny in the light and then they ended up on hifight
this is just the beginning

I mean corner combos are trash and arent flashy nor require actual skill. I mean your opponent is up against the wall for crying out loud. shyt is for pussies..

Another Drive Rush observation because clearly I'm obsessed
My initial issue was Capcom not allowing you to cancel any and everything, notably special moves but I'm seeing I was half wrong
Traditionally a cancel mechanic in fighting games allows you to cancel the start up/active frames of your move(Roman Cancel, FADC, etc). Drive Rush allows you to cancel out a special, but only during the RECOVERY frames
Here you can see Ryu Drive Rush out of both Hadoukens during the recovery frames of each move. The recovery frame cancels(the Parry dash versions) are also much cheaper than drive rush cancel from normals
Still not 100% what I wanted but this is still
