At 9:20, he mentions you can sign in player 2 with a controller for world tour then use your arcade stick when the fights start.
They have a built in feature where you can plug in both your pad and stick and use them interchangeably. So if you're doing the open world shyt you can use the pad and if you're in a match you can switch to stick seamlessly

He did say that, he said that the way they designed the characters is less appealing to people in Japan, but he’s happy that it will be more accepted by international audience.
