I never even used the Hooligan combo that much last game. This would basically be something to completely throw out of left field and get big payout for.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but can't raw parry drive rush cancels be done and go directly into special moves as well? And if so, do they get the same extra plus frames on hit/guard that normals get off drive rush cancelling too? If so..., this gets even more dangerous, lol. There's also the (slim) possibility it could be cancelled with drive rush. Drive Rush special moves can only be cancelled during recovery frames so I'm not putting too much faith in this idea. But again if possible
Held Hooligan's enhanced moves also appear to fall in line with SF6's general idea of having to earn your plus frames. I don't know if held hooligan attacks like divekick are plus obviously, but it's more than reasonable to assume based on what I know about the game so far

And the way drive rush frames work is as long as you're flashing green your next action is an extra +4. So if you do drive rush jab and your jab is normally +4 on hit, now it's +8 on hit which opens up combo opportunities. If that same jab is 0 on block it's now +4. If your super is -3 on block now it's +1
This is the reason I think they opted not to let drive rush cancel out of special move startup because that shyt would be broken. But being able to cancel out of special move recovery frames still allows for a lot of creativity
