Eight individuals trapped in a mysterious 8-story building participate in a tempting but dangerous show where they earn money as time passes.
Finished watching this one twice. Loved it!
8th floor is so annoying

I watched The 8 Show last week. I thought it was decent (but could've been better).Finished watching this one twice. Loved it!

7 episodes just not enough. Things didn't really start until episode 3. Kinda left me underwhelmed.
I guess the Front Man kept Gi-Hun alive to psychologically torment him some more. I'm a little surprised the old man is the mole in Ha-Joon's group. I'm curious to see how he's connected to Ha-Joon's brother/Front Man.
I was thinking the something similar. I figured he’s gay and was probably kicked out of the marines because of it. It’s not PTSD…it’s flat out fear. The way he was firing that gun, I doubt he ever held one before. They’ll probably pair him with the tranny since they’re both still in the game.I think there's some clues that he lacks masculinity. I am unsure if he's gay and probably isn't, but they had some clues like when they're playing that relay game he siad he played with his sisters often. Plus, he stated his dad sent him to the marines to toughen up. I assume he may have done that because his interests lacks masculinity. Also, could see him being a deserter or just a marine that had a desk job. I don't think he got shook due to ptsd because Korea is mandatory enlistment. He most likely isn't the type of soldier he pretended to be and is putting on a mask to hide his lack of masculinity. Lastly, the tattoo he got is probably to show his "masculinity"
It's unlikely to be PTSD from the military. While military service is mandatory for all South Korean men (with a few exceptions), that time (which is usually 1.5–2 years) is spent in a bootcamp environment and then training. South Korea rarely sends out troops for deployment in warzones.I was thinking the something similar. I figured he’s gay and was probably kicked out of the marines because of it. I know some of yall are cinephiles and have seen a lot of foreign language shows and movies
But did yall watch this show with the English dubs or Korean with English subtitles?
For me it was the latter, I was able to get the emotion and context, plus the hilarity like Thanos interjecting English randomly into Korean sentences
I rewatched a few scenes with the English dubbed version and the voices were corny and some of the dialogue was different altogether
Dub is always sh!tty, makes the movie seem artificial and way offI know some of yall are cinephiles and have seen a lot of foreign language shows and movies

It’s going to be a battle of will’s, gihun will win and the frontman will kill the vips but to gihuns surprise the games will continueThat's exactly why the Front Man kept that dummy alive. He wanted to break him. Gi-hun is not afraid to die this time around so just killing him is too easy. The ethos of the Squid Game staff is that killing the players is just putting them out of their misery. No-eul says this when Officer tried to make her chill with the double taps.
As for the mole in Ha-joon's party. I thought it could have been one of the hired goons but it does make more sense that it's Captain Park. Since the Front Man didn't really want his brother dead he most likely got Park to pick Ha-joon up and keep tabs on him. Easy to write in that Park was probably one of the shapes or part of an off screen island surveillance team during season 1.
I think Ha-joon's group will finally find where the games take place when No-eul sneaks out Player 246. It seemed like 246 got clapped at the end of the failed coup but I'm pretty sure it's No-eul behind the gun.
They changed the rules this season, so after every game they could vote. That's why there was more voting this season. Opinion on it is divided among the viewerbase.I finally finished watching Season 2 so I can now come in this thread
I honestly thought this season was gonna be completebut it was actually dope
How did 456 never raise suspicion on 001 in S2 when 001 was running the games in S1!
Reddit called the boat captain being shady episodes before boat captain showed his true intentionOne theory is captain is misleading frontman brother on purpose.
Am I the only who hated the fact that they did the voting scene MULTIPLE times this season, they dragged on long AF too
Crazy that frontman killed some of his own goons just to keep the cover when they first tried to fight back against the guards. IDK why anyone would want to be goon for frontman, dude will kill his own soldiers just to not blow his cover with 456
I REALLY hope that we don't have to wait a long ass time for S3. I'm really curious as how this ends and what's the fate for goon #11.

Ive watched the first two episodes I think im going to bailThis started out slow, got good in the middle, but fell apart in the end. That ending was just an incredibly stupid idea. The main character is an idiot though, that was clear in the first season, he's just more serious this time around, still dumb.
Of course they had to have tranny stuff in it and a lecture of tranny stuff in the movie.
