I wasn't going to pay anywhere near that. I was going to offer in the $3,500 range.
More reasonable but personally, I'd save the money for something nicer.
So, two of the Flawless cards I've been seeing on Ebay for months look like they are going on PWCC auction starting tomorrow. The first one is the exact card I've been looking at on Ebay for a while. The second card is a 9.5 BGS, and the one I was looking at on Ebay was a PSA 10. I guess I'll get some kind of idea of the value here, and then I should get a much better idea of what my two Lamar Flawless cards could be worth.

Definitely. Better eye appeal, lower numbered and one is a nice patch/auto
Yeah, I figured they were both definitely better. I know the emerald one is /5, but I think the card looks pretty ugly. I don't mind the Sapphire one, but I don't think I'm going to bid on either. I'd only bid on the Sapphire one if it was below what I would be willing to pay.
It should at least give me some sort of idea with my other two cards, although I have zero interest in selling either right now.
I was also looking at this card, but I'm going to guess it's definitely overpriced and to probably wait for a nicer card? Wasn't sure if you guys would say $3,000 is an overpayment. I think I'm likely not going to buy until those auctions are done, but was curious about your thoughts on this card?

Sounds good. I'll keep an eye on it. I definitely would have made some bids over the past couple of months if the markets were better, but I just need to hold off until I find one that is nice and is within range of what I'd pay.
If this was the fall, then I think I'd have come close to this card, but still might be too rich for my blood. I think I would have maxed out around $60,000.
