Good point. Basketball from my experience.I know you mainly do basketball cards, so are you referring to those specifically, or NFL cards as well?
I would assume they’re a coveted set in football as well, maybe not as valued, though.

You're chalked on RJ and Cam. MAYBE a crazy Knicks fan will overpay on RJ.Hey brehs. I pulled a RJ Barrett Purple Laser /15 and the same for Cam Reddish
any idea how much they can go for? Is it still better to get them graded?
also have some Ja Morant rookie prizm base and prizm variation. Wondering the same
@Regular_P

The Morant Prizms will be in the $50-70 range for the base, raw. Variation will probably be similar.
No one's made any offers on that since May. It's wildly overpriced like a lot of BINs/BOs on eBay, unfortunately.I saw this and thought the Barrett might be worth something:
2019-20 Panini Donruss RJ BARRETT #/15 Purple Laser RC PSA 9 New York Knicks | eBay
For the Morant cards, would you recommend I get them graded? Thanks breh

Would only be worth it if it came back as a 10. Cheapest option is still $100 so if it came back a 9, you wouldn't even get your money back. Personally, I'd wait until they come through with a cheaper option before grading.
BGS is cheaper but you probably won't get it back for a year and it doesn't command the premium that a PSA 10 would get. Thanks breh didn't realize the prices are outrageous for grading.
Is BGS similar as well?
And at how far the Zion prices have fell.
Don't blame them though the fat fukk might not play all year

I need Zion to get healthy and ball out.
I still believe.
You can negotiate the fees with auction houses. If it's over 20K, you should be getting part of the commission.Yeah, I was specifically talking about NFL as I don't really have any NBA cards.
And, I don't see how it's really worth doing a goldins auction as a buyer. I understand that there are bigger buyers there than Ebay and wherever else, but a 20% buyers premium for buying a damn card? That's absolutely absurd to me.
If you're selling that card down the road, you'll need to hope you get that same 20% premium back on the sale of the card, and have it sell high enough to cover whatever percentage is taken for selling a card there. That seems absolutely absurd to me..
If you buy a card for $40,000, you end up paying $48,000 + tax. Then when you go sell that card years down the road, let's say the "commission" is even a low 10%, you need to find a buyer for $55,000 to even just break even. And, I'm assuming the commission for that auction house is much higher than 10%..........
