All speculative assets are about to tank, cards included(well they already are). All of those cards that got sent to get slabbed up and are still backlogged by psa/bgs are about to start really flooding the market too. It's gonna be a good time to be a buyer/collector real soon.

You think it is tanking due to recent flooding from backlog fulfillment? Or something else?

The base card nonsense is tanking. The actual rare/high end stuff is still selling strong.

If the Chiefs win the Super Bowl, then I think I might list my Mahomes 2019 gold optic /10. I had my friend list some cards for me the other day to get a little more cash on hand. Still trying to consolidate.

I have a Hurts contenders rookie ticket auto that I know I massively overpaid for like an idiot back in September. I kind of want to bite the bullet and get rid of it, but I might just ride it out. I paid $2,400.. Only decision that I've made that might be worse so far were those boxes of contenders cards I bought back in April.

You would sell now before the Super Bowl, if you were to sell a card? The one I have sold for about $1,400 back in November before the buyer took out a telescope and looked at the card and claimed something in the middle was off and sent it back.

If he wins tomorrow, the following two weeks will have a Super Bowl win already factored in. There usually isn't a big rise after the Super Bowl.
