That's an investment type card. It isn't going down. When he breaks the goal record, it's going even higher.
I learned the hard way with Brady. Didn't think his cards could go any higher, then he'd win another Super Bowl...then another.

I was tempted to put my max at $12,500, but I passed. It went for $11,500.

I think that was a good deal for whoever won. There's only 99 of them.
This might convince a couple others to let go of theirs.

If I didn't buy that Lamar card recently, I probably would have gone for the Ovechkin card.
I somewhat wish I bought the Ovechkin card, but it was a good amount of change, and I didn't want to get burned either. I guess the good thing with Lamar playing like trash is that I won't be tempted to sell anytime soon. His cards are definitely long term holds for me.

I'd get a couple big cards of the GOAT before going after another unproven QB. You already took a flier on Lamar. I wouldn't take another massive risk unless you can really afford it.
Personally, I don't think Hurts it that guy either.

Just sold my first card ever on ebay for $315. Crazy how much prices can jump in weeks. Folks was selling this shyt for $120 before Jefferson broke the record Saturday

Oddly enough, I was just looking on Ebay, and I see a Lamar Jackson Kaboom PSA 10 that I might bid on tonight. I didn't want to really buy another one of his cards right now, but I have a ceiling that I'd be willing to pay. I won't get into a bidding war.
