Have one of my Lamar colors blasts arriving today.
What kind of impact do you think a second Lamar MVP would have on his card values if he wins one this year?

They'd go up and stabilize with a new floor unless he really stunk up the joint in the playoffs.
@BucciMane how do you feel about Deshaun Watson and his situation? I know you're a gambling man and PWCC has a rookie Gold Prizm up at auction right now:

I have no idea where it's gonna finish (and it's the only one graded below Gem) but those don't pop up very often.

Don't blame you. It's an extremely boom or bust situation.
If that team was more talented and had a chance to make some noise, I'd consider it, but I don't see that right now.
I would be buying and hoping that the organization turns it around in the coming years. Don't think it's worth it.

Also, in regards to the Watson card, that is similar to the Jackson gold that I didn't buy? Same level and everything? What would you value something like that card at? And, BGS 9 worth it still?
I don't think I would go for it as I'm trying to stick to my plan and save up for 6-10 weeks to buy a big boy card, and Watson's situation is too risky for me right now, but still interested in opinions.

Gold > Green, it's still a big card though but a Gold means more.
The Watson is a bigger card than the Lamar was. Prizm > Select for low numbered parallels and Gold is king outside of 1/1s. A 2017 Mahomes Gold Prizm would be a six figure card by comparison.
So, Prizms tend to be the most valuable, but Gold is the most sought after other than 1/1's, even if another version of the card is numbered lower?
And, Prizm is better than select?
Yes on all counts though regular Prizm has Black Golds now that are numbered to 5. I'm not sure if they go for more or less than a regular /10 gold since they rarely surface.

Those are selling at an absurd premium right now.
So far, these are probably my best or highest valued cards. Nothing crazy, but it's a start.
