Anyone ever heard of Fort Lauderdale being referred to as Fort Lickadikk?


My friend mentioned it just earlier and I was like you the first person I ever heard say that. I've heard fort liquordale but not that. He was like oh that's just cuz you never hung around the same guys that I did.

Even though you didn’t tag me but when I was in LA and got a haircut, the barber definitely heard a southern drawl in my voice. We just talk different from the rest of the South.

When i used to move around little towns in central Florida..they used to be like "you from Lauderdale yall boys stay causing trouble "

I've noticed on Google Maps that sistrunk looks somewhat revitalized. I can't wait to see what this man does with Sistrunk. It's an important and historic strip. SoFla has so many important historic Black neighborhoods.

For years ive been imagining a Grand Theft Auto set in Ft Lauderdale

Since Vice City is miami, all they gotta do is make Lauderdale, combine it with Vice so the map is big.
