Any of you interested, there's a food truck event at the bb&t center. Like twenty food trucks. Got tacos, burgers, cheesecakes, steaks, chicken, bunch of stuff. Trucks like cheezilla, churrasco grill, pizza, etc. Only thing is one per person. They give you a ticket at the gate. Got one from 4 to 7. I just got back from there for the 11 to 2 event. Don't know if you can buy more food after but it was ticket only. But for some free food, can't beat that. Especially since food trucks tend to be higher priced in my opinion.
fukk... I'm mad i see this now. Ain't no damn way I'll make it up to Sunrise in time

Y'all better hit up that disasterassistance.gov site and get some help from the government cause of the hurricane. I lost power for a few days but had barely any damage to my house. Any small repairs, my dad handled. My friend/sister told me about the website. She lost power for a few days and has two small kids so they sent her more money obviously. She stayed a few nights at her pops house cuz he had power. So I said fukk it and hit them up. They approved me for rental assistance and I don't even pay rent. :lolbron: Got a check in the mail today from the US treasury for 1300 dollars. And all because I thugged it out for a few days with no electricity. :banderas: Gotta see what I do now. Thinking of either paying off some credit card debt, or maybe buying a new phone and Samsung smart watch, or saving most of the money for future use and splurging some of it at the strip club. :lolbron: Possibilities are endless but y'all better get on this if y'all wanna come up on a check. Don't know if they'll give any to those who "evacuated". :mjpls:

Keeping my overhead low, and my understand high

:francis:

They been on this AP gentrification movement for a while now.

Only good thing is, that aside from all the new apartments going up (many of them are low income too), a lot of the older residents OWN their homes.

But then again...so did my peeps in Little Haiti and when the developers came knocking they sold out...We'll see how this shyt plays out

There's plenty of beautiful older homes in AP. Spanish revival architecture. Same in parts of Little Haiti.
