The Switch was/is a huge success that exceeded Nintendos expectations, and manufacturing consoles takes time. Add that they were also making enough SNES Classics and 2Dxls for their launches, I think Nintendo did alright.

Nintendo made mentioned that they made 9 million units of the NES classic and didn't expect it to sell out like it did. With the upcoming releases of the Switch, 2Dxl, and SNES Classics (as well as Amiibos) they couldn't just limit those upcoming releases just to produce more NES Classics which they plan on making of for next year.

Scalpers aren't some Robin Hoods you are trying to paint them as.
i wonder who they have as analysts....i mean, emulation isnt mainstream and its been around forever. how could they not think that NES mini wasnt going to sell out...that shyt was a no brainer...im mean gat damn, even my moma copped one and shes 65

But this morning everything has felt like pure crack mixed with Heisenberg meth :wow: Once I made it to Donut Hill in MARIO World it was over :damn: I beat Mega Man X, A Link to the Past several times, Castlevania 4, Mario World, Kirby Allstars, and Super Metroid as a kid now I’m :flabbynsick: now I can’t get past 3 stages on anything :snoop:

I agree they were shortsighted. Their target was lapsed gamers, adults who were around during the NES heyday, but they forgot about the current gamers lol

They didn't manufacture anywhere close to 9 million. They sold a bit less than 2.5 million total in the entire run of the NES Classic so yeah they fell well, well short of demand there.

They said their analyst used other retro plug and play consoles as a metric. These dudes really used wack shyt like the Atari Flashback and that awful Genesis bullshyt AtGames puts out to gauge interest :heh:

How do you rewind?

Edit: You gotta hit reset and hit the x button.

Make sure you guys save your games on the main menu. Made the mistake of either not saving the file correctly or something and had to replay a few levels in Mario. So I'm constantly hitting the reset button and overwriting my save state. Since in Mario it only saves after certain levels.

this happened to me on donkey kong..super mario world 1&2 im gucci i usually beat levels till it asks u to save....the thing i hate is once u reset it automatically turns it into a save state...then u gotta put it down in the thing to delete it its annoying esp if u aint tryna save
