and yes with the state of the country right now [in addition to it being hurricane season]
weve been looking into alot of prepper advice. we already keep canned food and water stockpiled. started compiling bug out bags.
started investing in some knives. looking for good boots for me and the kids.
stockpiling ammo and always in the market for more firearms. we are actually gonna duplicate
some handguns so we can narrow down the types of ammo we would need.
we have talked about evacuating the city if necessary, heading out to the country.


i will be interested in keeping up with this thread as more people add.

I'm trying to stay away from the conspiracy tinged talk, I've been on that kick for awhile but it's imperative that folks be prepared to get out of the cities when things become chaotic.. I can't stress this enough. Get out of the cities.

What concerns me the most is the lack to of awareness and willingness to let disaster just come. That roll over and die mentality is so dangerous.

I understand the futility of trying to prepare for extinction events but people seriously just willing to give up at even the mere thought of shyt going down. It just feels like we're being groomed for this shyt!

Very cool! It's not such a big transition for my older family members b/c they grew up in the country.
My mom and dad literally grew everything they are growing up and spent their childhood in houses w/o electricity or running water. Country in the early 40s and 50s. They made technology additions to my grandparents home over the years.
I'm sitting here geeking about making lye soap.

Me: "Hey mom did u know u can make lye from ashes and water?! OMG!"
Her: Yeah and u mix lard with it or tallow and make soap

I'm trying to think as minimalistic as possible. Like if somebody dropped my ass away from this life tomorrow, what the fukk would I do?

We are making some bug out bags too and tracking alternate routes to our country home to avoid major highways.

I'm more concerned about protection now and stockpiling weapons
