The fight was only close because of the 10-8 round

how you can look at kovalev in the first 3 rounds, then see how he was performing in the middle and late rounds, and think he was winning, he got wore down, if he was getting beaten to the body, he would've KO ward, that didn't happening, because he was losing

3. Ward is a master tactician man.. his game plan kicked in with the body shots

I def gotta watch it again before I can really comment. Fight did sway to Ward in the second half. That's not debateable. I need to focus on the early rounds next time I watch it

but goddammit ward the heart you showed to even come back from that second round was ridiculous. There wasn't a soul in the room that thought it would be even half as competitive as it was.

I'm going to review the fight over the next few days, and truthfully I thought kovalev was going to run away with the decision, but you managed it.

The rematch going to be as anticipated as the first bout.

Watching Ward land those crisp counters on a winder kovalev tho.... Enough to get me to ride with him.

Im pretty sure shes fukking Kovalev. She needs to stfu. I understand they are hurt by that decision, but it was a close fight and judges saw ward as the winner by 1 fukking point. They need to regroup and prepare for the rematch

To e fair Kovalev said himself that he is never concerned with strategy or tactics he just does what he was taught to do once and it almost always works. That doesn't mean that he's stupid cause what he learned covers many things but he just won"t adapt
