Ward's was a subtle domination. My posts in this thread point it out. Kovalev looked tired late in the fight. he lost control of the distance, was getting pushed back, and was eating hella body shots. what Ward was doing wasnt eye-popping but he was giving Kovalev some work in there.

I agree but i still dont think ward enough rounds to beat Kovalev. At best i saw it a draw, at worst i had it 116-114 Kovalev

The brits scored it for Ward lmao, because they understand boxing

if both men were the same height and weight this wouldn't even be a close fight.

kov size is the only reason it was close.

a lot of the European press scored the fight a draw or for ward.

False, Iole and Coppinger had identical 114-113 scorecards, also saw Abramowitz had it 115-112 Ward. Lol @ at a Lederman or Rafael scorecard being validation of anything.

How's he better than Ward when Ward moved up to fight him and he out-boxed him?

It was a close fight and it could've gone either way. But the knock down should have won it for Kovalev.

But the fight was in Vegas with American judges, not Siberia, so Ward won a close fight based on home advantage.

Can't complain.
