Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls Release Date

Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls is releasing on October 18 in North America and October 21 in Europe for PlayStation Vita, Idea Factory International announced today. Available through both physical and digital retailers, it’s compatible with PlayStation TV.

Featuring original Japanese voices, as well as English voices and English subtitles, Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls is an RPG where Neptune, the heroine of the Neptunia series, is transformed into a motorcycle. So, IF, who has been supporting Neptune from the side, takes over to recover the lost history of the Grand Library, all with the help of the Sega Hard Girls.

About the Sega Hard Girls

A collaboration project between ASCII Media Works’ Dengeki Bunko and SEGA, the Sega Hard Girls are made up of various Sega consoles, including the Dreamcast, Sega Saturn, and Mega Drive! These anthropomorphized consoles are girls with an array of personalities and spunk, and this time they are teaming up with Neptune and IF for an all-new adventure!

About Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls

Our story begins in the mysterious halls of an ancient library…

The Grand Library holds the history of the world within its shelves. Legend says that if one was to tamper with the books kept there, the past itself could be completely rewritten…

A daring adventurer known as IF discovered the location of this revered library and finally crossed its threshold. Little did she know, a disaster of historical proportions was about to occur before her very eyes. Books began to vanish from the library’s shelves; the history of the world was disappearing before her and the reasons for this occurrence were shrouded in mystery.

Key Features

  • A History of SEGA to Love! Introducing Sega Hatsumi, Dream Cast, Sega Saturn, Game Gear, Mega Drive! Familiar faces Neptune, IF, Nepgear, Plutia, and Uzume return as playable characters!
  • Be Anything You Want! Change classes to switch up stats to customize your team! There are also special skills only specific classes can use!
  • IF is Her Own Stuntman! Maneuver through treacherous dungeon terrains with various actions like jump, dash, climb, crawl, to reach items or special rewards, and even destroy objects to clear the path ahead!
  • Fever Time! Jump to obtain the rainbow gem and unleash Fever Time! This reduces enemy turns during battle, enables HDD form, and raises stats by 10% to give you the advantage!

Apparently its a Japanese RPG about Consoles being actual people :jbhmm: and the console wars being an actual war. I want to say im mildly interested but honestly, I dont know how I should feel about this... :what: plus I dont got a Vita so... :manny:

Also SEGA is making hella profits now :patrice:

"Sega's report for their fiscal quarter from April 1 to June 30 included sales up 33 percent to $692 million, and, more importantly, profits were in the plus column, coming in at $30 million."

Sega Has Been Making Some Serious Money, Here’s What We Know - CINEMABLEND

SEGA "plans to launch titles focusing on mainstay IP titles"... :whoo: That sounds like good news to me:myman: 2017 sounds like it will be a good year to be a SEGA fan

The creator of Flappy Bird for the Dreamcast VMU, known as guacasaurus_mex on Instagram, has been hard at work on cool fan made VMU games since we last featured him. His Flappy Bird follow-up, Street Race, featured six OutRun-style tracks and a unique grayscale graphics trick which has to be seen to be believed. His latest project dives back into the smartphone remake world with a Dreamcast VMU version of Pokémon GO. Due to the time it takes to draw all the Pokémon, and laziness, the game won’t be ready until 2017. However guacasaurus_mex does promise a randomly generated map grid, in place of a GPS map, and a timing-based mini game to throw Pokéballs. More info on the game, including the release, as we hear it.

Note: Yeah yeah, I know. Any Pokémon GO article in gonna get us clicks, but to be fair we don’t make any money off of site traffic nor do we have ads. At least we didn’t try and tie No Man’s Sky into SEGA… yet.

Ported by the great Yuji Naka since Capcom wasn't allowed to publish for Sega at that time.

It’s been pretty smooth sailing for classic pseudo-SEGA game revival Toejam and Earl: Back in the Groove, since its Kickstarter announcement all the way up to its “soon” release. And for those excited for the game, the good news keeps piling up! Just today, a new trailer was revealed by Adult Swim, announcing the game’s release window and its publisher, Adult Swim Games, known for quirky titles like Jazzpunk and Robot Unicorn Attack. While Adult Swim doesn’t exactly come to mind when I think of TJ and E, the match-up does at least make some sense if you think about it.

In addition, the crew have released several batches of screenshots on their Facebook, and a Steam page has gone up with even more shots. Unfortunately, those looking to get in on the funky rogue-like action will have to wait until 2017 to get their hands on the game for both PC and consoles. Hopefully the wait won’t be too long, and you can at least keep yourself busy with the screenshots below the jump.
