The Smackdown commentary this week appears to be Josh Mathews and JBL. JBL came out to a pretty small reaction, but the males were pumped up. Josh offered up a handshake, but JBL slapped his hand away. Hilarious!

Booker T. appeared on the Titantron and announced that effective immediately all iron phalli are banned from the WWE until further notice due to the attack on Mr. McMahon last week.

Sheamus came out to hype his PPV match with Big Show. He did a story about one of his Irish family members but Show interrupted him. Show called him a pathetic world champion who went from beating up jobbers in ECW, the one he made famous, to winning the WWE title, KOTR, Royal Rumble, and beating Daniel Bryan in 18 seconds and no gives a crap. He's had the most forgettable WHC reign ever. Show said the WHC title may as well be the European Title or the silver ECW belt. It means nothing when he's holding the title. Show said for all the hype, all the accolades, all the wins; he doesn't have one truly standout moment. The closest he's come is the win over Daniel Bryan, and that was only due to Daniel Bryan becoming a major star after the loss. Show said he's been putting in work for 12 years and he has never gotten all of the opportunities Sheamus has because he wasn't hanging around with the right people. Show said that when he beats Sheamus at HIAC people are going to forget his terrible title reign and Sheamus is going to go back to carrying gym bags for people that matter. Big Show and Sheamus had an intense stare down. Sheamus told Show that he is the last person that needs to be talking about forgettable reigns and about the WWE universe not caring about someone. The last thing Sheamus remembered about him was crying and pleading to John Laurinitis to get his job back. Show said that he's right and gave him a stiff WMD. Show told the fallen Sheamus now he has something else to remember. Tensai emerged from the crowd to pick the bones of Sheamus but Booker T. came onto the stage to intervene. He set up a match between Tensai and Sheamus.

1. Sheamus defeated Tensai. Sheamus won with White Noise followed by a Brogue Kick in about three minutes. Sheamus, unlike some people, had no trouble lifting Tensai. Big Show came out after the match and delivered a WMD to Tensai telling him to go back to Japan. And he gave him another one and said that was for Sakemodo.

2. Heath Slater and Jinder Mahal (w/Drew McIntyre) beat Santino Marella and Zack Ryder. The heels won in about four minutes when Slater hit Ryder with an inverted DDT type move. After the match Drew McIntyre's boyfriend Damien Sandow came out to the ring and told him not to associate himself with these miscreants and plebians. McIntyre broke up with and hit the future shock DDT and kicked him out of the ring.

3. Kane beat Dolph Ziggler by DQ. The DQ came roughly nine minutes into the match when Dolph hit Kane with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Afterward, Dolph tried to attack Kane again, but Kane knocked him out of the ring. Daniel Bryan ran out to help Kane, but Dolph escaped and the tag champs bickered amongst themselves. Matt Striker tried to interview them, but he received a No! Lock and chokeslam.

4. Big Show beat Kofi Kingston. Show won with the WMD in a couple minutes. The Miz was on commentary and trash talked Kofi afterward while he was down in the ring. Sheamus came out to confront Show. Sheamus tried for the Brogue Kick but ended up hitting Kofi. Miz laughed but was KO'd by the WMD. When Kofi recovered Sheamus tried to apologize but Kofi pushed him away and said he was going to pay for that. No more Mr. Nice Guy.

Kane and Daniel Bryan were ambushed backstage by Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose. Seth Rollins hit the Rollin Thunder on Kane and Dean Ambrose hit Bryan with the Ambrosia. Rollins shattered a glass phallus across the face of Bryan. Agents and refs ran over to stop the carnage and said that phalli had been banned and Rollins and Ambrose were in a lot of trouble. Rollins pointed out that only IRON phalli were banned. They used a glass phallus.

There was a backstage segment with Booker T, Teddy Long, Eve, Layla and Kaitlyn. Booker T. said that everyone needs to get a long and Teddy needs to not let his jealousy and personal animosity towards Eve get in the way of his job. Long said nothing.

5. Sin Cara (w/mood lighting) beat Damien Sandow (w/Cody Rhodes). Sin Cara won in about three mins with a roll up. Cody got ejected, and Sin Cara used the distraction to get the win.

Big Show ran into Teddy Long backstage. Show said that Teddy doesn't get any respect and doesn't deserve it. He lost his job and instead of trying to get it back he let Booker take his spot and make him just a servant. Long is giving Booker all of the great ideas yet he doesn't trust Long. Show reminded Long that it was Eve who turned her back on team SD! in the first place making Teddy lose his job. And this is the person that Booker is siding with over him. Show said that it's time for Long to take his job back by fair mean or foul. As he turned to walk away Long stopped him and said he's right. Not just about Booker, but about everything he's said tonight.

6. Alberto Del Rio beat Daniel Bryan. Del Rio won by submission with the cross arm breaker. Rollins and Ambrose were watching on a monitor backstage and laughing. ADR talked smack about Orton after the match. Orton showed up and started beating down ADR. Ricardo provided a distraction for ADR to escape, so Randy RKO'd him through the announce table as ADR looked on.

After the cameras stopped filming, Big Show came out in sweats and told Orton to go away. Instead, Randy attacked him. ADR came back out to make it 2-on-1 before Sheamus came out to even it up. ADR took a Brogue Kick and Show took an RKO. Orton shook Sheamus' hand and hit him with the RKO and yelled STUPID STUPID STUPID, you never trust a viper. That was for Kofi.

1. Prime Time Players defeat Kofi Kingston and R-Truth. This advances Prime Time Players to the next round of the Tag Team Championship Tournament. The crowd was into Kingston and Truth. The match lasted about ten minutes, and went through what was said to be a commercial break. (Derrick mentioned that the announcer's stopped talking and the match slowed down considerably.) Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins attack all four men after the match. Ambrose gets on the mic and says they can drown their sorrows with chicken and grape soda. Rollins adds don't forget the watermelon. HUGE mixed reaction for Ambrose and Rollins.

- Thanks to Nikki for the following WWE SmackDown spoilers from tonight's tapings in Fresno, California. These will air this Friday going into the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view:

* SmackDown opens with Teddy Long and World Heavyweight Champion Daniel Bryan backstage. Security is guarding Teddy's office. Long is concerned about Randy Orton's condition and pulls him from the Elimination Chamber match on Sunday.

* Big Show and The Great Khali defeat Wade Barrett and Cody Rhodes. After the match, Show turns on Khali and takes him out. He also goes after Cody but he gets away; so he chokeslams Barrett instead. Teased leaving but then grabbed a chair and shoved it in his throat. Refs broke it up.

* Mark Henry returns backstage and wants Teddy Long to put him into the Elimination Chamber match. Big Show came in and demanded a match against Daniel Bryan for later tonight. Show got pissed, called Henry an untrained gorilla, laid out Henry and tore up Teddy's office and threatened to slap Aksana before leaving. Long put security on notice and told them to take Big Show out of the arena if they see him. Aksana told him he should have stood up to Show and she expected more from "his type" and leaves

* Hunico defeated Ted DiBiase with the help of Camacho.

* WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo defeat The Usos.

* Daniel Bryan comes out and cuts a promo about his actions on RAW. Bryan says he will win at Elimination Chamber. He wants Lilian Garcia to announce him the winner by forfeit but Teddy Long interrupts and makes Sheamus vs. Bryan now.

* Daniel Bryan beat Sheamus by DQ when Sheamus went crazy on Bryan. Bryan spit in Sheamus' face which caused him to go crazy. Sheamus pushed the referee which caused the DQ. As Bryan tried to escape Sheamus came after him and Bryan threw AJ between them. Sheamus gives her the Brough Kick to a huge pop.

* Cody Rhodes and Wade Barrett (in a wheelchair) confront Teddy Long and want to know who is replacing Randy Orton at the Elimination Chamber. Teddy announces a battle royal to fill the final spot. He says a Superstar from RAW or SmackDown can compete.

* Jinder Mahal won a quick match over Ezekiel Jackson. Ezekiel cried after the match. Jinder cut a quick promo about having "an old friend" return.

* Tamina and Alicia Fox beat Natalya and Beth Phoenix. The referee gets distracted by Natalya's farting. A brown stain can be seen on the back of her tights. :smurf:

* Santino Marella won a battle royal to replace Randy Orton in the SmackDown Elimination Chamber on Sunday. The match came down to David Otunga, Ezekiel Jackson, Drew McIntyre and Santino. Santino got a big ovation from the crowd for his win. A distraught Ezekiel attacked Santino after the match

Dark Match:

* Brodus Clay defeated Epico

Squash match. Rosa Mendes mocked Naomi's butt after the match and was pimp slapped by Naomi for her trouble. Naomi and Cameron gave her stink faces. So did Clay.

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* SmackDown opens with the returning Christian for his Peep Show segment. His guests are Teddy Long and John Laurinaitis, who came out with David Otunga. Christian wants Long and Laurinaitis to convince him to be on their teams. Christian joins Team Laurinaitis after Ace promises him a title shot if Team Laurinaitis is victorious at WrestleMania. Teddy goes to book Christian in a match tonight but Laurinaitis doesn’t approve. The newest member of Team Long, Kofi Kingston vs. David Otunga is up next.

* Kofi Kingston beat David Otunga with Trouble in Paradise.

Good, long match. Otunga hit a C4 but was too close to the rope with a pin. After the match Ezekiel Jackson ran down and was looking to mop up Otunga, but then laid out Kofi Kingston. He got on the mic and apologized and said he was sick and had real problems. He got on top of Kofi and looked at him with a sick smile and then started crying. He snapped out of it and ran to the back distraught.

* Segment with Daniel Bryan and AJ Lee. Bryan insults what she’s wearing and said the mannequin wore the dress better.

* AJ Lee with Daniel Bryan at ringside defeated Brie Bella.

* Sheamus vs. Chris Jericho is announced for later.

* Cody Rhodes came out and cut a promo about Big Show and their match at WrestleMania 28. Called Show Pig Slow and said that at WM the fun and games will come to an end. He pulls out the mask and says baggers will be on duty to cover the eyes of children at ringside because there will be a Holocaust committed.

* Cody Rhodes defeated The Great Khali with Beautiful Disaster. After the match he repeatedly chaired Khali in the throat. Then snapped his leg with said chair. Baggers were called out to cover the eyes of children. A special bagger laid a sheet over the body of Khali. Disfigured theme played in the background.

* Randy Orton comes out and calls Kane out. Kane comes to the stage and shows a video of them wrestling and shaking hands last year. Kane says that made him sick and weak. Closure will come at WrestleMania. Orton calls Kane to the ring but he won’t come. The match is official for WrestleMania.

* Big Show squashed Drew McIntyre with the WMD punch. Before the match McIntyre attempted to pinch shows butt.

* Mark Henry beat Yoshi Tatsu.

* Chris Jericho comes out and talks some more about CM Punk’s father being a drunk. Jericho goes on about how he is the best in the world and Punk is just a wannabe. Jericho tries to get the crowd to chant “CM Drunk” to no avail.

* Chris Jericho defeated Sheamus by count out after Daniel Bryan came down and attacked Sheamus while he was out on the floor. He ripped off AJs dress and strangled Sheamus with it. When AJ got upset he put her in the LaBelle Lock. Sheamus made the save but then hit the Brogue kick on AJ for good measure. Surprisingly big heat for that.

Daniel Bryan and A.J. came out to start the show to a lot of boos. Bryan made A.J. tell everyone how much she loves him. It was hard to hear anything because he was being booed so loudly. A.J. added that Bryan is going to make Sheamus tap out at WrestleMania 28.

Shemaus interrupted and called Bryan a coward while saying his speech made him throw up in his mouth. Sheamus said he will kick Bryan's teeth down his throat and added that he will be called a former World Hvt. Champion.

1. Mark Henry defeated R-Truth. Henry won with the World's Strongest Slam in three minutes. After the match Henry grabbed a chair and attempted to induct Truth into his "Hall of Pain" to send a message to Cena and Rock, but Kofi ran in for the save and ran him off. A distraught Ezekiel Jackson ran to the ring and KO'd Kofi with a dog chain. Then he got on top of him crying but smiling a sick smile and pulled some Kleenex from his trunks and shoved them in Kofi's mouth and left the ring.

A graphic was shown for Big Show vs. Kane for tonight's show.

A video package revealed Yokozuna as the newest WWE Hall of Fame inductee.

Zack Ryder and The Great Khali were added to Teddy Long's team at WrestleMania 28.

2. A.J. (w/Daniel Bryan) beat Brie Bella. A.J. received a pop because she's from Union City, N.J., which is about ten minutes away from Newark. She got the win with a distraction by Bryan followed by a roll up for the pin. Afterward, Bryan entered the ring and celebrated more than A.J.

A No Way Out video package aired to hype the event that will be held in New Jersey.

3. Zack Ryder (w/Hornswoggle) beat Jack Swagger (w/Vickie Guerrero). Lilian Garcia mistakenly introduced Ryder as Swagger. Back and forth action, Ryder got a near fall, and so did Sswagger. Ryder hit the Rough Ryder for the victory after Vickie and Hornswoggle argued on the apron in 3:49. Swagger hit the Swagger bomb on Vickie after the match to a big pop.

4. Big Show defeated Kane by DQ when Cody Rhodes interfered. Cody ran in and tazed Big Show for the DQ. Show recovered and chased him into the crowd. Randy Orton snuck inside the ring and hit the RKO on Kane for a big pop. The match lasted a little over four minutes.

5. Brodus Clay beat Health Slater. Squash match. K Greene asks when we'll get a real Clay match rather than a squash. Good question. Clay won in 1:25 and then entertained the crowd. Slater snuck back in the ring and hit Clay with the ring bell. Then he got on the mic and said he was after some dark meat and grabbed Naomi and kissed her and groped her ass. She actually looked like she liked it.

6. The Great Khali defeated Dolph Ziggler via countout in a restarted match. Christian came out to a pop and joined the announcers on commentary. John Laurinaitus rang bell and declared Ziggler winner by submission with no tap (Montreal screwjob style). Teddy restarted the match and counted out Ziggler, declaring Khali the winner. Kofi Kingston and Santino Marella pushed Ziggler back in and Khali chopped him. Two men in white attacked Kofi as he was going up the ramp as Ezekiel Jackson sobbed from the stage.

7. C.M. Punk and Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan and The Miz is in progress. Punk entered to the pop of the night and Sheamus got another big pop. Sheamus hit the Brogue Kick on The Miz and got the win for his team in 6:23. Great tag team wrestling from Punk and Sheamus. Miz took most of the punishment, as Bryan ran from Sheamus after he got the hot tag. After the match, Sheamus took Miz to the top rope and Celtic Crossed him into the announce table to a huge pop. Then he pulled him from the announce table and performed the Cross again on the steel steps. Miz was stretchered out. Bryan and AJ were watching on monitors in the back. Bryan was shaking and AJ was crying. Bryan told her she needs to control her bladder next time.

Dark Match

1. John Cena beat Kane in a cage match. Cena came out with Zach Ryder and Tony Chimmel. They clowned and joked around with the crowd about Lilian messing up for a few minutes before re-announcing Zach Ryder. Lilian said she messed up because he is hot. Funny. Kane came out. A lot of brawling and an early escape attempt by Kane. There were "Cena sucks" and "Let's go Cena" chants the whole match. Cena won with the Attitude Adjustment in three minutes. Ryder hit Cena with a chair after the match was over as Kane recovered and smiled. Ryder said that he and Eve belong together and it was no longer Mr. Nice Guy.

*Chris Jericho defeated Kofi Kingston in a solid match. Kingston hit the Trouble in Paradise and went for the cover but two men in white pulled the ref out and began assaulting Kingston while Ezekiel Jackson sobbed on the TitanTron. Jackson revealed the men as his "orderlies" John Heidenreich and Gene Snitsky and how they are helping him through a troubled time. He says that very soon he will show Kofi why he cries. He wishes Kingston good luck Sunday.

* Zack Ryder defeated Drew McIntyre by DQ. McIntyre purposely hit Ryder with a low blow and then grabbed a fist full and refused to let go. He told Ryder forget about Eve, his hotel room is open.

* Big Show comes out and promises to have his WrestleMania moment by defeating Cody Rhodes and winning the Intercontinental Title. Cody Rhodes comes out on the ramp to the Disfigured theme with the baggers. Cody states that he is schizo and it has kept Show off his game never knowing what to expect. But the time for fun and games are over. The final solution is at hand. He says that this is bigger than Show and it's only the beginning. Show attempts to leave the ring to get Cody but his attacked from behind by Goldust with a cattle prod. Pretty intense segment. At the end Cody gets in the ring and says that at WM that the cleansing of the WWE shall begin with the ushering in of a new world order.

*Sheamus is interviewed in the back and states that he heard people are doubting him. He agrees. He feels like he's taken a back seat to Bryan's antics. No one gave a damn about Bryan when he was a vanilla good guy and that it pays to be the bad boy. He has the girl, the acclaim, and the championship while people feel he has lost his edge despite winning the Royal Rumble but that all changes tonight.

* Jinder Mahal comes out but is interrupted by Shawn Michaels and Triple H with their DX music. DX joked around on Mahal before he got hit with a Pedigree and Sweet Chin Music. Shawn said he’s still better than Triple H and The Undertaker, regardless of what happens at WrestleMania. Shawn ran away up the ramp with Triple H chasing him.

*Cameras cut to Daniel Bryan's locker room where Sheamus is kicking down the door. He goes after Bryan but AJ stands in front of him. He throws her at Bryan and attacks them both with a chair. Trainers and refs come in to help but he attacks them as well then resumes beating on Bryan and AJ. He throws Bryan around his locker room as AJ desperately tries to intervene until she is stomped by Sheamus. Eventually other wrestlers are able to separate Sheamus who is foaming at the mouth and screaming YES YES YES at the top of his lungs. Bryan and AJ are left bloodied on the floor to end the show. VERY mixed reaction for this segment.

* Dean Ambrose defeated Josh Shields.

SmackDown, Airing Friday:

* Daniel Bryan opens the show and is interrupted by Alberto Del Rio. Del Rio talks about winning the World Heavyweight Title after Extreme Rules until Big Show interrupts and says that he'll be the first dual HWC and IC champ very soon. Daniel Bryan says that he is the only thing on Smackdown that matters. No one cares about Sheamus, no one cares about Big Show dropping to the minor leagues and no one gives a damn about the IC title after Big Show has been drooling all over it, and no one gives a damn about Del Rio as no one even knew that he was missing. He suggests that Ricardo come work for him. Brawl erupts with Show cleaning house and giving the WMD to Bryan. Huge pop for that.

* Alberto Del Rio beat Big Show in a non-title match when Cody Rhodes interfered. Cody had a long scar down his face.

* Damien Sandow vignette aired on the big screen.

* WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella beat Alicia Fox. Kharma's music hit but no Kharma. Nikki was very distressed nonetheless.

* Darren Young and Titus O'Neil beat Ezekiel Jackson and Yoshi Tatsu. Zeke bailed on Tatsu mid match stating that he had business to take care of. He looked very distraught.

* Michael Cole conducts his exclusive interview with Randy Orton. Orton talks about what he will do to Kane at Extreme Rules. Jinder Mahal interrupted and Orton left him laying after a RKO. After the interview Cole is ambushed by Ezekiel Jackson and his orderlies Heidenreich and Snitsky. Jackson is sobbing and stating that the world has ignored him, especially Kofi Kingston. But if Kingston continues to ignore him Heidenreich will have a new chew toy. Jackson and Heidenreich caress Cole gingerly as Snitsky looks on.

*Antonio Cesaro has a tryout match arranged from John Laurinaitis. He defeats Tyson Kidd in a solid match. Aksana (w/Teddy Long) introduced him. She said that she and her "friend" Teddy were happy to cheer him on and she gave him a kiss for good luck. Long was not pleased.

* The Great Khali beat Cody Rhodes by DQ after Rhodes walked out on the match right after the bell rings. He says he refuses to wrestle a dangerous joke like Khali and that the guy can't be trusted to tie his own shoes, let alone be safe in the ring. He says he's only still around to appease a few Punjabs across the ocean. But at least he can speak better than Big Show. Rhodes pulls out a razor and cuts his face. He says he has lost himself since losing the mask but now he's finding himself again. Says Kane is the least of Randy Orton's problems.

* Ryback squashed local wrestler Jacob Kay. Daniel Bryan, Mason Ryan, and Michael Tarver watched in the back.

*Booker T calls Kofi Kingston out to plead for him to rescue Cole despite their differences. A dark room shows up on the Titantron and there are scream and grunts heard offscreen. Ezekiel Jackson appears wearing nothing but the silver ECW belt. Kofi yells out what the hell is he doing here but Booker hushes him so we can hear what he has to say. Kingston wants no parts and leaves the ring. The screams get louder as we see a locked door with a grinning Snitsky standing guard. "I'm not just sharing a poem this time Michael!" is heard from behind the door

* They recapped A.J. attacking Natalya last week after D-Bryan dumped her.

* World Hvt. champion Sheamus beat Mark Henry in a non-title match. Good back and forth match which saw Sheamus win with the Brogue Kick. After the match Bryan runs down to the ring and attacks Sheamus. They brawl to the back parking lot area where Cole is being loaded into a waiting ambulance. Sheamus throws Bryan into Cole's stretcher and pounds his head on the door of the ambulance screaming YES! with every hit. Officials separate the two and Bryan is left a bloody heap. AJ comes out and helps him to his feet and he slaps her down. Show ends.

WWE Smackdown Taping

* Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan to open show. Bryan started a “Yes” chant before the match. Ricardo Rodriguez and Alberto Del Rio interfere giving Sheamus the win by DQ after locking Sheamus in the arm bar. Bryan and Del Rio have words and Rodriguez knocks him down and curses him in Spanish

* Sheamus’ arm being looked at after Alberto Del Rio’s armbar during match interference.

* R-Truth and Kofi Kingston vs. Hunico and Camacho is up next. Epico and Primo with Rosa Mendes and Abraham Washington are spotted hanging out on ramp. R-Truth & Kofi pick up the win after R-Truth hitting the Lie Detector for the win. A stare down with former WWE Tag Team Champions Epico and Primo at top of ramp into commercial. After the match Heidenreich knocks out R-Truth with a metal phallus and Snitksy attacks Kofi and they drag him to the back.

* Brodus Clay makes his way out dancing for his match vs. Jack Swagger. Dolph Ziggler at ringside was sent flying after a headbutt from Clay. Naomi did not approve. The match finishes in a DQ win for Clay with Ziggler and Swagger causing it. Clay then runs them and Vickie Guerrero off. Naomi doesn't do the victory dance with Cameron and Clay.

* Randy Orton and The Big Show vs. Kane and Cody Rhodes is announced for later. Raw rebound is played.

* Daniel Bryan and Alberto Del Rio are shown backstage arguing about Sheamus. Eve Torres tells everyone after she checks with docs she might let the champ work.

* Derrick Bateman out to take on Damien Sandow next.

* Derrick Bateman comes out to take on Damien Sandow. Drew McIntyre comes out with Sandow. Sandow calls Toledo ignorant and Bateman a miscreant. Says he won’t fight an ignoramus. Sandow and McIntyre leave. They played it up like they're an item. Ryback comes out after Sandow left and squashes Bateman in short time winning with the Running Muscle Buster in under 2 minutes.

*Kofi Kingston is shown tired up and bloodied in the arena basement. Ezekiel Jackson, Snitksy and Heidenreich are with him. A distraught and sobbing Jackson explains that his dad passed not that long ago and took with him a dark secret, that he molested Ezekiel when he was younger and never paid for it. Now Jackson says he has to live with that pain but he can't, it has to be released. And he will release it on Kofi and retake his life. Kofi Kingston is gagged and choking on his own sobs. Disturbing segment.

* Randy Orton and The Big Show vs. Kane and Cody Rhodes is next. Randy Orton received the loudest pop so far. Orton with the hot tag and cleans house after Kane and Rhodes beat down Big Show for 5 minutes. Orton with the RKO on Kane and Big Show knocks out Rhodes with the WMD for the victory. Orton RKOs show and spits on him after the match.

* Sheamus has been evaluated by doctors and will fight tonight.

* Jack Swagger, Dolph Ziggler and Vickie Guerrero make their way to the ring. Looks to be a reshoot as Brodus Clay makes his way next. Clay defeats Swagger via countout. Different finish from earlier in this reshoot. Naomi looks longingly at Ziggler.

* Layla defeated Natalya. Dead silence for this match until a We Want X-Pac chant broke out

* Segment at the t-shirt stand involving Teddy Long oiling up a wrestler.

* AJ slapped in a backstage segment by a woman.

* Ricardo Rodriguez announces Alberto Del Rio’s entrance, who will be watching the main event featuring Daniel Bryan vs. Sheamus.

* Daniel Bryan gets over with the crowd. Sheamus has a bandaged on his left shoulder following his attack earlier. During the match Bryan hits a diving headbutt. Brogue kick on Bryan who went for a top rope drop kick after Del Rio interfered. Sheamus wins to end this week’s WWE Smackdown taping.

WWE has a little less than a quarter of the arena on the camera side tarped off. There were plenty of "Yes!" chants and "Woooooo's" before the dark match earlier.

Booker T came out to a big pop. Michael Cole was out next to insane heat. He had several police officers around him and appeared to be extremely nervous. Lilian Garcia came out to a respectable reaction.

John Laurinaitis came out to pretty massive heat. He said he disagrees with the decision of the board of directors. He said it will be like leading the lamb to the slaughter on Sunday. He asked the crowd to support him and then asked that they say a prayer for him.

C.M. Punk's music played and he received a massive pop. Punk headed to the ring as the fans chanted his name loudly. He said his prayers have been answered because after Over The Limit, Laurinaitis will be terminated. Punk said he would like to be the first to wish Johnny the best in his future endeavors.

Punk said he has no respect for Big Johnny and by this time next week, Punk will be WWE Champion and Big Johnny will be on the unemployment line. Laurinaitis blamed the fans and said they can go to hell. He booked Punk vs. Kane for later in the show.

1. R-Truth and Kofi Kingston defeated Titus O'Neil and Darren Young. Truth hit Paydirt on Young for the win. Lots of love for Kingston from the fans. After the match Heidenreich and Snitsky attack the tag champs and steal the belts. A gleeful Ezekiel Jackson watches from the ramp. Truth wants to give Chase but Kofi was too distraught.

Zack Ryder was filming his Youtube show when Damien Sandow walked past him. Sandow is up next.

Damien Sandow came out with Drew McIntyre and introduced himself as our intellectual savior. He said he would bestow upon us enlightenment that we so desperately craved. He said Yoshi Tatsu was not worthy of facing him. Yoshi called Sandow a chicken, and now it's on! Sandow hit Tatsu with a chickenwing neckbreaker and left. No match. Apparently, it's not on. Drew McIntyre awards Sandow a kiss on the ramp for his victory.

A Big Show vignette was shown with answers teased for tonight.

Backstage, Sheamus said he looks forward to the four-way match because it gives him a chance to show what kind of champion he is. Orton said that while there are three other guys in the match, he would love to pin Sheamus. They had a staredown.

2. Daniel Bryan beat Zack Ryder. Ryder came out to a decent pop, but his reactions have cooled considerably from where they once were. Bryan came out to a big reaction and got a mix of "Yes!" and "No!" chants, but the "Yes!" chants definitely won out. Bryan put him away quickly with the Yes! Lock.

3. Kane defeated WWE Champion C.M. Punk by DQ. Daniel Bryan was on commentary for the match. Bryan went to hit Punk with a chair, but turned around and hit Kane with it instead. Bryan then hightailed it up the ramp, and Kane, thinking that Punk had hit him with the chair, lit Punk up with some throat thrusts and a pair of chokeslams. Jeremy notes that perhaps should Kane just pretend that all his opponents hit him with steel chairs since it seemed to bring out the best in him.

4. Santino Marella beat Cody Rhodes in a champion vs. champion match. Santino caught Cody coming off the ropes with the Cobra and pin. The crowd was actually split for this match, but popped huge for the finish. Baggers attack Santino after the match and Rhodes chokes him with piano wire until he passes out. A white sheet is placed over Santino.

Ezekiel Jackson meets Daniel Bryan backstage and says that he's a huge fan and looks forward to his victory Sunday. He begins to weep a bit and says that there is still pain in his heart and he can't wait to make a trade for the title. Heidenreich pins Bryan against the wall seductively and whispers YES in his ear and leaves. Bryan is obviously shaken after this encounter.

Backstage Interview with Dolph Ziggler and Naomi. They explain their actions on last weeks Smackdown and say they were chained and tethered to mediocrity. Ziggler says Swagger looks deformed and most likely wears diapers. His IQ is on par with what he holds in those diapers. He says Vickie only has a job because Eddie died a broke drug addict and it's sad she's whored herself out so much. Naomi states that she's tired of being held down so a fat, corny white man and put himself over shucking and jiving. Says that this is par for the course in WWE and mentions R Truth as an example; saying after he mentioned a lily white John Cena he went from ruthless to too stupid to live. But she won't let it happen to her. Ziggler says that they, and not washed up UFC "star" Lesner, will bring real legitimacy to the WWE.

Randy Orton came out to a very big reaction. Sheamus followed to a mix of cheers and boos and some "Sheamus" chants. Fickle crowd.

7. World Hvt. Champion Sheamus defeated Randy Orton. Orton went for the RKO, but Sheamus schoolboyed him for the win. The crowd was about 70/30 in favor of Orton, but popped big for Sheamus's pin. After the match, they shook hands and then Orton hit the RKO to a big pop. The show should end with Orton standing over Sheamus in the ring.

Post Match Dolph Ziggler and Naomi ran into the ring and beat down Randy Orton. Ziggler used a chair and Naomi used a bullwhip to beat and choke Orton. Cody Rhodes appears on the ramp with mask and baggers and slowly walk to the ring. The baggers put a bag over the fallen Orton and Sheamus and cover them with a white sheet. This ends the Smackdown tapings.

Eve Torres comes out and brags how John Laurinaitis is still in charge. She said that Laurinaitis won't be there tonight, and she's in charge. She said that Sheamus will apologize and she will name his opponent for WWE No Way Out. Alberto Del Rio comes out and says that he wants to be Sheamus' opponent and complains about his other title matches. Randy Orton comes out and says he wants the shot, and then Kane comes out. Kane says he wants a title shot and noted that tonight's episode was #666. Eve makes a three-way match for tonight, with the winner getting the title shot at WWE No Way Out.

WWE Intercontinental champion Christian defeated Hunico with the killswitch. Cody Rhodes came out and said that Christian has ruined the Intercontinental title, and that he'd win it back.

Titus O'Neil and Darren Young defeated The Usos. Heidenreich and Snitsky were ringside to observe. Michael Cole was escorted to the back for the duration of the match.

A vignette aired saying that Sin Cara will return next Friday.

Ryback squashed two jobbers. Ryback hit his finisher on both wrestlers at the same time to get the win.

Santino Marella defeated Ricardo Rodriguez with the cobra.

Sheamus came out and said that it was an accident (bumping into Laurinaitis on RAW), and he shouldn't have to apologize. He then apologizes for Laurinaitis being an ass and makes fun of The Big Show for kissing Laurinaitis' ass. Vickie Guerrero came out, it was hard to hear what she said with all the booing. She then introduced Jack Swagger. Sheamus vs. Swagger is next.

Sheamus defeated Jack Swagger with the Brogue kick.

Damien Sandow defeated Yoshi Tatsu in a quick match. Drew McIntyre was ringside and hit Tatsu with an iron phallus while Sandow distracted the referee.

The Big Show comes out and sits in a chair in the ring. He said that he loves what he does and says that he needs to support his family, and that he felt betrayed by everyone. "You sold out" chants start." Show says that he has no friends, so he made a deal to get his job back and they devised the plan at Over The Limit. He said that the fans never cared about him and he doesn't care about them. He said he realizes that the fans hate him no matter what he does so why not look out for himself. He's loyal to no one but the green.

Kane comes out for his match. Daniel Bryan beats the crap out of him with a chair. Kane is on the ground and referees have to take him off of Kane. A distraught Ezekiel Jackson ambushed Bryan on the ramp and beat him down with the ECW belt. He said that Bryan failed him and the pain has returned. He starts to drag Bryan to the back but is attacked by Kofi Kingston and R Truth. Kingston lays out Jackson and Bryan and then attacks R-Truth. Refs and officials have to pull them apart.

Another Sin Cara vignette aired.

Kane is back on his feet and the triple threat match is next.

Alberto Del Rio defeated Randy Orton and Kane to get a World Heavyweight Championship match at No Way Out. Bryan came out and distracted Kane, which allowed Orton to hit the RKO on Kane. Ezekiel Jackson, Heidenreich and Snitsky, ran down and clocked Bryan with one of the stolen WWE tag titles and dragged him to the back. Del Rio broke up the pin and threw Orton out of the ring and covered Kane for the win. After the match, Sheamus came out and nailed Del Rio with a Brogue kick. Dolph Ziggler and Naomi hit the ring and attacked Orton culminating with Orton having his throat crushed by a steel chair. He was coughing up blood and stretchered out. Sheamus kicked over the stretcher as he walked up the ramp.

That was the end of the show.

Booker T came out to a massive pop, while Michael Cole drew the usual massive heat. Lilian Garcia received nice applause.

There was a notable statement during the opening video. They said the WWE Championship will be defended for the first time on Smackdown in four years. They claimed it was eight years on Monday's Raw, so which is it?

Sheamus is out first to address World Hvt. Championship match with Alberto Del Rio at No Way Out. David Otunga came out to interrupt him. He set up a replay Sheamus bowling over John Laurinaitis when he ran out to help John Cena on Raw last week. He demanded an apology. Sheamus rebuffed him.

Alberto Del Rio came out to add his two cents. Not over at all. Otunga got more heat. Otunga stated that Del Rio would be allowed to pick Sheamus's opponent for the night. Sheamus Brogue Kicked the hell out of Otunga. Del Rio bailed and Sheamus stood tall in the ring.

1. Sin Cara defeated Heath Slater. Sin Cara came out with new red and white ring attire and a new pyro set entrance but with the same strip club lighting. Sin Cara won with a tilt-a-whirl face buster on Slater. No botches except for a small awkward spot when his foot was caught under the rope.

There was hype for the WWE Championship match for later in the show.

Ezekiel Jackson has a match with Damien Sandow. Sandow took the mic for a promo. He blew off the match, but Zeke tossed him back in the ring and the match was underway.

2. Damien Sandow defeated Ezekiel Jackson by DQ after interference from Heidenreich and Snitsky. Snitsky hit Sandow with an Iron Phallus mid cartwheel for the DQ. Drew McIntyre ran in to help his boyfriend but was put through a table by Heidenreich and Jackson. Jackson then grabs the mic and says he deserves better competition than this and Bryan better man up and defeat Punk or they'll have to have another "talk," and that Heidenreich will want to do it the "hard way" next time. Jackson became distraught and emotional and began crying. Michael Cole fainted during this segment and was rushed to the back by EMTs.

There was a backstage segment between Dolph Ziggler with Naomi and Alberto Del Rio. Ziggler wanted to be Sheamus's opponent and got his wish. Ryback is up next. Joy.

3. Ryback beat two jobbers. The jobbers were billed as being from Alabama, so they chanted Roll Tide Roll. Ryback got a good pop when he came out as a result. Goldberg...er...Ryback finished the kids with a double muscle buster. He got an LSU chant and jogged to the ring until the reaper came out and took the meat sacks in the ring out. Same old stuff. Time for a feud or get him off TV. It's old now.

Vickie Guerrero came out with Dolph Ziggler and vowed to end Sheamus tonight. He says that Vickie has one more chance as his manager or he will break the contract officially. At this point, all we've really gotten is matches and one backstage segment, so it will be a wrestling heavy show for Friday's television show or they'll tape other segments later and add them in. Sheamus came out to another massive pop. He's really over.

4. Sheamus defeated Dolph Ziggler (w/Vickie Guerrero). The action came at a decent pace with Ziggler hitting a top rope facebuster on Sheamus. Jack Swagger ran out to help Ziggler and messed him up. He ate a Brogue Kick to end the match. You'd think a cannon went off and shot Dolph with the way he sold it. Good match. The crowd was very into the match. After the match Ziggler got on the mic and screamed that it was officially over. He gave Zig Zags to both Vickie and Swagger and Naomi ran down and beat both of them with a bullwhip. Ziggler slams the ring bell into Vickie's hand repeatedly and says the contract is broken.

Darren Young and Titus O'Neil come out for a tag match. We get a backstage segment with Striker and Punk putting over the WWE Title match. Santino Marella and Zack Ryder came out. Hey, a Ryder sighting!!!

5. Santino Marella and Zack Ryder defeated Darren Young and Titus O'Neil. Santino got a roll up in less than two minutes. Big Show came out and tossed Marella into the WWE sign on the stage. Ryder got tossed around ringside as Titus and Darren exited the arena. Show took the bigger half of the ring steps up the ramp and slammed Ryder on them. Santino got the same treatment on the steps with a Camel Clutch. Show hit him with a WMD to massive heat. Show stared out at the crowd before leaving.

There was a backstage segment with Daniel Bryan telling A.J. that C.M. Punk is only using her. Snitsky comes behind AJ and grabs her by the hair and tosses her aside. Snitsky asked Bryan if he remembered the "discussion" they had in the back last week and that he better get that WWE championship off Punk so Ezekiel Jackson can realize his dream of wrestling him for the title and sharing his pain. Bryan looked visibly shaken when Snitsky left.

6. Cody Rhodes defeated Tyson Kidd. Poor Tyson didn't even get a ring entrance for the live crowd. He deserves better. A nice fast paced match. Cody won in less than two minutes. Cody and Christian jawed for a minute after the match. Cody said that Christian's time was coming and he was going to disfigure him and put him out of his misery.

A Bray Wyatt promo aired. Showed a cross burning and Wyatt singing in the background.

Kane was shown backstage and the WWE Championship match was up next.

7. C.M. Punk fought Kane to a DQ finish when Daniel Bryan interfered in a WWE Championship match. Slow and plodding at start. The crowd got into it toward the end. Daniel Bryan ran out while an inconsolable Ezekiel Jackson looked on from the ramp. He's way over. Bryan attacked both men, and the ref called the bell for a DQ finish. Kane ended up chokeslamming both men at the same time.

Big Johnny comes out and declared the WWE Championship match at No Way Out a Triple Threat match.

Bryan and punk were left in the ring with AJ. Bryan tried to get her to leave with him, but she left without either one of them. Bryan slapped Punk twice. Punk gave Bryan a GTS. The fans loved it. Lord Tensai and his follower Sakamodo ambush Punk in the ring and leave him laying. Sakamodo presents Lord Tensai with a cane and Punk is whipped with it. Tensai cuts a promo in Japanese to end the show.
