:pachaha: I just got home with it about 40 minutes ago. My brother and I set it up and it was fairly simple to set up but MAN the fukking wires :mindblown:.

Anyway,I loaded up the demo disc and put on the ocean descent demo from PSVR worlds and man :pachaha: it's like you're really there. I was just happy at looking around and seeing shyt.
It's weird how seeing videos of floating hands or controllers makes you think it's less immersive but when you're actually wearing the headset it's like your brain fills in the gaps.

I let my brother try it since he didn't care about the VR initially but as soon as he put the headset on and this guy started tweaking and shyt :pachaha: Dude was a lil high so the VR feel of presence blew him away. It's like once you pop the headset on, the graphics being less impressive than regular games becomes irrelevant lol. I'd love to play more but I gotta go to sleep for work tmrrw .:beli:

There was a lot of people buying the PSVR at Gamestop. I went to the one on Route 22 NJ, there was I think 17 people picking up me and my boy included.

I'll buy a game tomorrow. I'll play some more demos tomorrow and pick up after that. Fun times ahead :ohlawd:

OK
I'm looking forward to reading impressions. I'm not yet sold on VR but I'm fighting the urge to pick up a headset just to play RIGS.

let install, shyt had me going for a bit thought I was going to have to tap out. Headset and Pulse Elites(bass boost) shyt had me overheating with all the head movements and big ass headphones on. I was like all damn this is the game I was anticipating I can't tap out on this one, I like it too much. Took all that shyt off wiped myself down, grabbed a fan from the garage. Turned the fan on to keep me cool and it was on from there. RIGS is awesome and it looks damn good in VR, I love the training level to get you acclimated to all the fast paced shyt that's going on.

When I get off work, it's back to RIGS.

The PSVR works with the other devices in theater mode.

The resolution of the theatre screen is lower than everything else so it's nothing like the TV but the screen is big as hell. I guess a 1080 p movie or whatever would feel like a 720p movie

Looks like it's selling good on Amazon number one seller right now.

Sony is expecting that its PlayStation VR headset to sell "hundreds of thousands" units after its launch Thursday and the company is ramping up production capacity to deal with the expected demand, the European chief executive of electronic giant's gaming division told CNBC.

Jim Ryan, president and chief executive of Sony Computer Entertainment Europe, told CNBC on Thursday that the company is expecting strong sales.
"We know from the data we have from pre-orders that the interest we have is significant," Ryan said in a TV interview, adding that at launch, sales will be in the "many hundreds of thousands".

Sony obviously hasn't seen ALL those canceled pre-orders.

Just read that PSVR is compatible in Cinema mode with any hdmi source. Thats pretty cool, so if you had a small computer monitor, or wanted privacy watching something other than your ps4 you could use the PSVR head set.
I might have to pick one up so I can plug in my XB1 HDMI out to the HDMI in on the PSVR and play Gears of War. :patrice:
