As someone that owns a Vive and an Oculus, I must say I'm impressed. The graphics and resolution aren't quite on par with the other two but the experience is very close. The unit itself is well made and seems like it will be ok for long gaming sessions. You brehs won :smugbiden:

Seems like this is Sony's most impressive piece of hardware since the Vita. Hopefully it won't go the same way.

There is a Sony shop near my work with it, might try it out this weekend.

@Cladyclad you tried Rigs already right? I stopped within two to three minutes. I felt a little stomach unease. The game was cool and all but dammit I gotta get used to some of these VR games with movement.
Yea I tried it was intimidating af. I was a lil queasy too when I looked down in the mech. I got that feeling of riding up/down a hill. I only played for 5 mins and it was the demo. I didn't install the retail yet. So I will see if it's a difference when I get off work in 5 hours

Driveclub looks HORRIBLE in VR.

That Playroom platformer demo is dope. It works in VR perfectly. Crash or ratchet and clank can work here. Y'all gotta play it's called robot rescue.

Any reason why the Sony's Gold wireless headphones are incompatible with the VR:dahell:
I was ready to go when then i realized the i wasn't hearing sound from them, turn them off and back on and a error message popped saying they were incompatible:childplease:
I was :martin: plugging those cheap wired headphones that came with the VR until i realized i still have my old Bose QCs laying around
This thing already had enough wires:what:
Hopefully they release a software update to allow wireless headphones. I thought i was retired from that wired headphone life:why:

You can use the Golds you gotta plug them in with the wire to the headset input that's why the breakout box is connected to it for. 3d audio is needed for VR. 3D audio isn't sent through the headphones wirelessly.

Yesterday was my first experience with VR and was impressed from the jump.

Started with that Ocean Dive first and just had a smile on my face the whole time. The Heist was pretty cool too. Got to find my Move charging dock to fully enjoy.

Playing with the ball in the menu of VR Worlds was fun until I swung and slammed the DS4 into a table.

Rigs looked great but I couldn't get past 3 minutes of a match before I had to shut it off.

Surprisingly I got no motion sickness from Driveclub at all. Graphics from far out were trash, but the cockpit view left me very impressed with it.

The feeling of being somewhere and reaching out to grab/touch something with your hand only for nothing to be there is a surreal experience. I hope this is successful in order to push the technology further with aaa support.
