why does everyone need a charging station? can't you just plug your controller via USB to the system and then charge? i have a power cord with a USB port, is that enough? i only plan to have one controller, sohh, do i need a charging dock?

Yeah shyt's a waste to me. Droid gang, so I got usb type c cables and micro to usb converters in abundance.
