As Xbox sells less and less hardware and Nintendo is going underpowered again there's an opportunity for Sony to run it up with PS6. Nobody else in the market will be offering console power for 3rd party development. Nintendo hasnt given a fukk about that since GameCube era but I wonder if that would finally get them to change their attitude

Idk why these dummies actually thought nintendo was gonna somehow fit a ps5 (current gen console) into a 400 dollar handheld. Sony already said Nintendo isn’t their direct competitor and its because nintendo ain’t trying to lose money on hardware

Right it's gonna sell for them regardless so there's no incentive to give it current gen power, just backwards compat with Switch.

I'm wondering if PS6 does crazy numbers does it influence Nintendo in any way with their future hardware decisions?

I doubt it, nintendo is gonna continue to dominate the handheld/hybrid lane (barring any explosive success from pc handhelds or sony/xbox handhelds) and mario, pokemon, zelda, animal crossing, etc. will continue to sell gangbusters, probably at 70 dollars now.

I think the type of people that want things with crazy graphics are always gonna be older, and there’s just not enough to go around anymore.

if anyhting i think this will probably cause Sony to hold out for as long as possible for the PS6
