PS+ requires money, so whether its $20 or $60 you still paid BI'm talking about the games of the month. You get access to some games free of charge. You're not paying anything extra to download games like Velocity Ultra or w/e else is on PS+.

You're not paying just for access to those games though. They're not "free to play" but they're a nice incentive to get PS+ in addition to it being mandatory for online MP.

I just call em free because on PS3 you don't need PS+ for online access so you're literally paying for access to monthly games and discounts whereas on PS4 you're buying PS+ for online MP and whatnot so the games seem to fall in that free incentive area. I get what you're saying though.

Well we gotta bring up the MP if we talking about PS+ since that's the main thing people(on PS4) at least are buying it for. Also why you keep saying "discounted" games?? Velocity 2X was free to play if you had PS+ this month. It wasn't a discounted game that you have to buy on top of getting PS+. I understand exactly what PS+ is, there's no confusion on my part. you're getting extra technical with it.

You're not getting what I'm saying. You're calling the games that are accessible during a PS+ subscription "discounted" when that's not really true. There are in fact games that have PS+ discounts on them when you have PS+ so when you buy them, they're yours to keep even outside of the subscription. I'm aware that you need PS+ to access the games that are downloadable each month, I'm not sure why you keep repeating that.
To me,I pay for PS+ to play online and I see the games as something extra. The reason why I look at it that way is because me myself don't look at the games of the month as the value of PS+, me needing it for online MP determines the value. I don't go "Oh I need to cop PS+ so I can get Velocity 2X for FREE!", I go "Damn I need to get PS+ to play Destiny online... Oh Velocity 2X is downloadable this month?? Cool"

My perspective are those are games you can play for no added fee on top of PS+ since I assume most people getting PS+ is for online MP. It's semantics. I'm not calling Velocity 2X or w/e "a free game". Only a game like Warframe or War Thunder are free in the sense that you don't need to pay for it at all.
