Do Bluetooth 3.0 devices work with PS4? Looking at copping a keyboard for it, just want to know before I pull the trigger...

I was getting some crazy ass input lag with my controller while playing BF4 last night. I swapped out my controller and had the same issue. I damn there had to keep the controller at face level to keep it under control. I'm only about 10 feet or so away from my system. Does the controller need a clear line of sight to work properly?

Didn't have this issue till last night, but hopefully that shyt is fine tonight.

Glimmers Of Hope That The PS3 Might Finally Be Getting HBO Go

ku-xlarge.png

Although much of our attention is focused on next-gen, there are still several lingering questions for current generation gamers — one of which is whether much-ballyhooed streaming service HBO GO will hit the PlayStation 3. It appears there are finally signs that question could soon be resolved for PS3 owners.P

On their CVs, several current HBO employees mention working on the PS3 in some capacity, and two former HBO staffers — who ended their work in March and July, respectively — explicitly talk about aiding in the preparation of a launch of a PS3 version of HBO GO.

While combing through my cache for things left behind by a visit to the HBO GO website, I discovered an XML file on the site detailing supported devices for each service provider that repeatedly shows the following code in each list of supported devices:

<device>
<code>PS</code>
<description>PlayStation</description>
</device>

The PlayStation app is the only one of the devices listed that is yet to launch, which could perhaps suggest a launch may not be far away. I would also note that the recently announced Xbox One app — slated to appear at some point after that console's launch — is nowhere on the list.
Also, while visiting the HBO/Cinemax booth at a cable industry trade show this past June, a TV-focused tech blogger tweeted that the next two platforms for HBO GO would be Apple TV and PS3. This tweet came a week prior to the public announcement of HBO GO hitting the Apple TV.

Much to the chagrin of many gamers spending $400+ in the coming months, there is no indication quite yet that HBO GO will arrive on Sony's just-launched PS4, but the audience of the PS3 will greatly outnumber next-gen platforms for quite some time, so it is unsurprising that a current generation app seems to be a bigger priority.

Will any 2.5" hard drive work in the PS4? I'm looking at getting a 2TB drive, possibly hybrib if available. SSD prices are :whoa: right now

Also, what will happen to my saves? I know the PS3 gave you the option to save to the cloud but the PS4 has yet to prompt me :lupe:

Not any 2.5" hard drive. It has to be 9.5mm thick. 2TB drives in that size aren't out yet (highest capacity out right now is a 1.5TB HDD). Right now the best you can by is the Seagate 1TB hybrid.
